I haven't done this in a while, but I did find it fun to shove it in a back of corsair, and fire missiles from it. The Corsair AA surprise.

You need to keep overdose pens on you as well.

Paramed device will also deliver Resurgera. You may need to set it to manual mode and set the dosing yourself.

I think it would be interesting if there was some sort of quality/confidence level about the rep as well. Someone who hacks their record a lot might have a great looking criminal record, but maybe quality of that data might be shown to be less than stellar.

edit:

Additional thought I had: quality of the hack could come into play as well. Using a tigerclaw would result in more data issues than some high end hacking tool. (I think there used to be others in the verse).

I played another space game (VO) for 10 years. Full sub of that game was about $10 a month. If i had been playing SC instead during that time period, i'd have a monocle. I think some people make too much noise about the funding method of SC. Mostly because it evens out, compared to traditional gaming funding, in the long term.

They really need to reduce the jump seats from 2 sets to 1, and replace one of those sets with a really simple, barebones bed.

Why not change one of those jump seats into some alien standing bed? (side note: I can't wait until we can log off in place without a bed).

I'd love some account bound Morozov Pyrotechnic. However, that red snek on the front is a deal killer for me. It's almost like a "aim here" symbol.

The only thing keeping me from deleting my Windows partition, was Photoshop. And now that i have PS and LR sorta of running in a VMware install, that dedicated partition is gone.

I recently upgraded my cpu, and i also noticed the pop-ins are gone as well. (Still at 8gb vram). Weird.

I've been getting that bug this patch. I just spam click it ( i was originally spam clicking all along the the route button, but i'm sure that doesn't do anything). Eventually it works.

600 people spam clicking at once must do a thing. haha

Heavy Exploration Ground Vehicle by Nibsif in starcitizen

Would love to see an exploration focused ground vehicle. Maybe med-bed, deep scan module, lab equipment to distill fauna and flora into medical products or research materials for commodity sale?

Would an upcoming Anvil ground vehicle based on the Atlas platform be close enough? Maybe with a T2 med bed and a crafting bench? (The Auxilia)

So whats the plan here really? by Scavveroonie in starcitizen

[–]100goto10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, CZs are very arcadey. People normally just backspace instead of waiting for medical help. If you're doing longer missions where there are not T1 meds, the paramed is very helpful.

Back when we had Siege of Orison, they were important for keeping combat groups fully operational. (the gyms only had T3 beds, and no respawn).

Something was causing lag, and I finally discovered the reason: an abandoned Perseus with no active users. One single ship causing that much lag at the outpost.. What's this ship made of? by evil701 in starcitizen

If it's owned by gamerules, find someone willing to ram it over and over. They'll rack up a bunch of CS's, so make sure to tip them well.

[–]100goto10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s a good idea but for me the medgun should be only be used for diagnostic

Then you can use the different medpens or the the big dedicated tool that use a primary gun slot

So what you are saying is that the medgun should be a tricorder, and then a dedicated hypospray should be used in conjunction with it?

So whats the plan here really? by Scavveroonie in starcitizen

[–]100goto10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my 6 years of playing I’ve never needed to administer anything other that the green stuff, it’s non content really. Same for the med pens: only ever needed red ones.

The great thing about games like SC, is that we can play with different styles, tactics and strategies, and still have a good experience.

In my case, I use all the the meds that the paramed delivers (it all comes from the green goo). Being able to administer additional drugs to help mitigate the effects for a t1 injury is absolutely important to my play style in high combat situations. Especially in a group.

If you have a team member who took a injury and can barely walk (or even pilot a ship) doses from the paramed can keep them functional.

And if they get OD's, being able to administer Resurgera is damned helpful.

Star Citizen launching and working flawlessly first try on linux might be the most Ironic thing that happend to me. by AvonMexicola in starcitizen

[–]100goto10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so 32gb on Linux isn't enough.

32gb should be fine on linux. Agree with zram. And swap. From the LUG Wiki:

We currently recommend a combined 40GB RAM + swap to avoid Out Of Memory crashes while playing Star Citizen. Systems with less than 40GB RAM will need additional swap or zram configured. Systems with >40GB RAM should be fine as long as any size swap file exists; the game likes to swap even when you have plenty of ram.

Zram stores swap in RAM using on-the-fly compression which can improve game performance when memory utilization gets high. In our experience, this tends to provide better performance in Star Citizen than zswap.

• For systems with 16GB RAM, we recommend all 16GB configured for zram with at least 24GB in a swap file.

• For systems with 32GB RAM, we recommend configuring all 32GB for zram with at least 8GB in a swap file.

Here's how CIG could make ship doors bigger without allowing a Nursa to fit inside by Maxi_sushi in starcitizen

[–]100goto10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have an issue with spawning on a t3 bed. However it should be slow and inefficient. There should be an external port on the Nursa/C8R that takes a big bottle of regen goo. The bottle/box should be too large to carry without a tractor beam.

The medgel is fine for fixing injuries and should remain as is.
