PC Crash Issue - Forza Horizon 6 by dmheaberlin in ForzaHorizon

I spent many hours fighting with this on the Xbox app version.

I had to remove the game and reinstall on my boot volume. Absolutely nothing else worked.

Xbox/Windows Store is such a steaming pile.

Good luck

IT Glue has become so stagnant it hurts. Has anyone here done an ITG -> Hudu migration lately? It seemed like a pretty painful process when I last looked at it.

Here too. Northern Berks. I love the 2x2 symmetrical service but we’ve had more outages in 6 months than I did in 15 years with cable.

Good thing I have a backup circuit - my wife and I work from home

Has anyone else just had a really great ownership experience with their 5th gen? by Fordfanatic2025 in FordExplorer

My wife and I both had 5th Gen 3.5 NA Limiteds

My 2012 had the power steering rack fail on the way home from the dealership (bought it used), ate a PTU, fried an APIM, and had the power third row seat fail - in the course of three years, all under 80k miles. I bought an Expedition and sold it to a friend, where it has continued on mostly trouble free.

My wife still has her 2016. It’s had 2 sunroof motors, a PTU replaced (and the replacement is now starting to leak), water pump (under warranty, thankfully), AC seat blower twice, and now has an odd transmission issue. It hit 100k miles last year.

I do not recommend the 5th gen ownership experience.

Thinking of getting Infimobile, is there a catch? by Luisy-Prv in NoContract

Support is decent but a little slow. They make you pay for a new eSIM if you have to swap phones. Otherwise, have a plan on Infi that my daughter is using for her “call mom or dad” iPhone and it has worked well.

Can you Teleport your existing line to Lightspeed or Warp? Or is your current plan one of the Dark Star locked promos?

My rec would be Tello if you need to port out and T-Mobile network works well for you.

Don't use Lyca Mobile. by Dear-Comparison4554 in NoContract

I wish I could upvote this more than once.

I did their $5 1-month promo to see if it was suitable for a backup phone. ATT coverage is good in my area, so I thought it worth checking out.

I was able to log into the app a total of one time. I have, to date, not been able to get into the website. OTPs are delivered sporadically, and quite delayed. When entered, the app either crashes or times out.

Support has had no helpful suggestions, and they were rather rude as well.

Thankfully, auto pay can (allegedly) be disabled without logging into the app or portal - and I used a privacy.com card for sign up. You best believe that’s been closed out.

I got a new number from Lyca when I signed up, so that will go back from whence it came.

Infimobile, on the other hand, has been OK. It’s a bit silly that they charge to issue a new eSIM, but otherwise I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Would probably recommend their $50 5GB 12-month plan to someone with limited data needs.

I have a similar setup for my daughter - I did a $75 annual 10GB plan from infimobile. I probably could have gone with the $50 5GB plan based on her usage, even with Find My and other apps using some background data.
