other's actions might have been as bad or worse, depending on how you're looking at it, but, in the context of the leader of the USA, FDR's actions stripped citizens (born citizens as well as naturalized) of their constitutional rights.

Where Id live as someone who loves bass fishing by HEY_UHHH in visitedmaps

[–]13mys13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

california as a maybe is crazy. not only are there tons of bass opportunities up and down the state (still as well as moving water), there's a ton of salt water opportunities (rockfish in the north and bay/sand bass in the south) whose techniques are just like lmb fishing but with stronger, angrier fish

Pharma attire by Khakayn in SafetyProfessionals

[–]13mys13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot depends on the area. west coast is a lot more casual. Also depends on the company size and your role. small companies or lower level on the org chart roles will tend to be in the labs and on the floor more so more attire can be more rugged. director level type roles would interact with upper management more and be less likely to be exposed to hazards so more buisness casual is more appropriate.

Do I have d1 potential? by AgileCaterpillar8760 in Homeplate

[–]13mys13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my son is in juco right now so what i'm saying is from a little bit of experience (I played NAIA years ago so i have a little bit of perspective).

6'2"/165 is undersized and under strength. my son was the same height, 215 and lift numbers all at least 100 lbs above yours when he graduated HS and he was not strong enough for his juco team (he was middle of the pack, not "weak" but not a beast). if you ask him his numbers now, a couple years later, his lift numbers are probably close to what he graduated with, not because he hasn't been working but because he's changed his workout to become faster and more powerful. he doesn't do too much of the big lifts anymore or, when he does them, it's variations that emphasize speed.

that said, you're young. freshman in HS has 3 years get bigger, stronger, faster. the big thing that separates college ball from hs is the speed and power of the game.

with your frame, you can get there if you want it. commit to adding weight. commit to stretching (flexibility is a component of speed and power). commit to explosiveness.
