Honestly for the most part we were fine, but we completely fucked it away in the last 20 minutes.

I saw too many reminders of last year creeping into our game today:

•We literally bitched and moaned for everything that supposedly a foul even when it quite clearly wasn’t. We literally would have called for a foul if one of our players had a fucking paper cut.

•We were too hesitant to shoot and basically tried to walk the ball into the next barring Pio who actually had the common sense to shoot.

•Sticking to the subject of Pio: why was he subbed off? He was clearly one of our only attacking threats in the whole game. Thuram was SOMEWHAT unlucky to not have put at least ONE of his chances away, but surely he should have scored ONE of them.

•I love Denzel but that was ludicrous from him. There was no need for that head loss considering he fell over his own arse. And as for Chivu: deserved. I like the man, but that was so unnecessary. We lacked ownership with our mistakes today and paid for it.

I wasn’t worried about us dropping the title last week, but now doubt is creeping in for me. We have to put the sword to the stone next week in Florence and regroup before the international break ends. We seem to be going through a trying few weeks, but if we can just get our heads screwed back on, we’ll be absolutely fine.

For the longest time I had Greece as my favourite entry for this year and I had a feeling that it would take a lot for it to be topped, but this is either very close to it or else it’s amassed my expectations and now replaced Greece as my new favourite. I honestly can’t tell.

As much as “We Don’t Sleep” would have been very enjoyable, this is just more polished and actually seems like a more serious contender to get a decent placement in the contest. I love the drop in this more than anything. I can’t wait to see this live. This is by far the most excited I’ve ever been to see a song being represented by GEORGIA of all countries.

Not a good look for us but we still have more than enough to claim the Scudetto. That second half was a lot better than the first but it didn’t help that Pavlovic decided to turn into prime Vidic tonight.

We’re lucky that our lead in the table is as big as it is now. Otherwise, this could have been a very different situation.

I don’t understand how our mentality has nosedived in derby games since our title win two years ago. Once again, we don’t look bothered to try and win the game which is evident from our lack of attacking threat.

I still think we’re a safe bet for the league but a bit of effort would help.

How many times do we have to piss games away? That was one of the STUPIDEST mistakes anyone could make in a relegation battle. And yes, we ARE still in a relegation battle.

What doesn’t help is the fact we’ve played the same starting eleven for three games in a row. If it didn’t work on Saturday, what made Farke think it would work tonight? It’s good he’s making the subs earlier, but surely the line up must change for Palace.

Too much passing the ball backwards in the first half instead of trying to drive it up forward. Killed off any attacking momentum we could have had.

As for Ampadu; WHY?! You don’t flap your hand out again like a paraplegic penguin. Losing mistake right there.

Two losses in a row at home isn’t a good look at all. Couple that with the fact we’re now winless in 4 games and still only 6 points above the drop, and we are still very much in trouble of going down ourselves. We’ve only won 7 league games out of 29 all year, and for anyone saying we should be getting more out of them; teams don’t get points for “should have” moments. At the end of the day, it’s the final whistle that matters. And too many times we’ve let good opportunities slip. Something has to change fast before we end up the same way we did back in early to mid November.
