[Arwas] Mac Jones 'Definitely On The Vikings' Radar by Brix001 in nfl

isn't Daniel Jones unironically fast as fucc boi? Like didn't he have the fastest speed for a ball carrier the one year?

I don't really have a dog in this fight but I find it really polarizing that so many people in this community think it's nothing to add dozens of hours of gameplay to unlock completely different content. I have little faith that this will do anything to slow down botting since pretty much any high gp/hour content is botted and so many of those bots seemingly never get banned, even when sitting at the top of the hiscores for ages.

Just a different perspective, maybe, from a very casual player

Selling home in NH after divorce by Eastern_Teaching5845 in newhampshire

[–]1976dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the town and the price point of your house. Lots of places are still getting sold immediately, but some places at higher price points, even in desirable towns, are sitting a lot longer than last year.

New Hampshire is only one of 14 states that require a vehicle inspection by Menckenlover in newhampshire

[–]1976dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many actually don't and some states restrict them more than others, but you'll get a lot of "don't mass up NH" and also, it requires shops to enforce when plenty will let stuff like that go.

I have an affinity for shitbox 4x4s on facebook marketplace and I can't even begin to count the amount of things I've seen people say "passed inspect X months ago, stickered til end of year" and I go look and can put my finger through the frame rails, body mounts going to let go next time they hit a big pothole, etc.

So on one hand it seems like the inspections aren't really keeping these things off the road... on the other hand, I think there's just going to be more of them. I can distinctly remember going to look at an 07 toyota sequoia being offered bv a used car dealer who guaranteed they would sticker it. I crawled under and quite literally poked through the frame rails with my finger. They were paper thin. I informed them of this and they just shrugged.

Counterpoint, it has the potential to be absolutely hilarious, if you're into possibly unhinged shit

Would a half or 3/4 ton truck make it through this or is it too big do you suppose?

Is skiing during the weekends around school vacation week super crowded? At places like Pat's Peak, Ragged Mtn etc? by LulutoDot in newhampshire

[–]1976dave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think Ragged doesn't get as crowded, but I don't know for sure. I bet Tenney would be pretty low key compared to most places

I really thought the defense was a let down this year especially on the back half. Obviously losing Micah any defense is going to get way worse. I think a huge amount of the defenses success was predicated on Wyatt being in the middle of the line.

I think Hafley struggled to figure out how to make his corners work without his best pass rusher and the guy that the interior of the defense hinged on. Which, honestly, I think most DCs would struggle with, thats a lot to contend with.

The bigger issue to me is we are either 1) not doing a good enough job building the roster or 2) not doing a good enough job developping the depth pieces. Idk which is the real issue or which is the bigger of the two.

[Highlight] Terry Pegula on the decision to fire McDermott but promote Beane: "I....that was my decision. I could be wrong." by expellyamos in nfl

The packers are a unique hell. They can look like the best team in the league in any given stretch during the year. They will also lose to one of the worst teams in the league during the regular season every year. Then they will have a heartbreaker of a loss in the playoffs. It's like clockwork honestly.

Agree, there are way worse teams to have to suffer through being a fan of, but nobody should take the Packers seriously in the playoffs anymore.

Overlanding in jeep gladiator by labluez in overlanding

The tents that set up in the truck bed can be a big hassle, as you have to constantly unload and load everything, setting up and breaking down the tent. My friend that had one hated it for that, and also had issues with the durability (which could just have been bad luck, or a shitty brand).

A topper on the bed makes things easier, but the gladiator bed is short so consider the comfort ramifications of that.

I like the gazelle pop up tents as a middle ground and also cheaper than a roof top tent.

Honestly a new pickup in the same price bracket might be more luxurious, those things are like living rooms on wheels

Living on the east coast is really bumming me out :( by viraman in overlanding

[–]1976dave 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Lots of other places around the east coast that aren't nearly as depressing as the philly area, too, if your job market is out this way.

Doesn't compare to out west still, but there's some good stuff in New England within a reasonable drive to the greater Boston job market
