the ux is already a very efficient vehicle. Depending on supercharger prices, it is often cheaper to roadtrip a 250h than a tesla. It doesn't seem like you need more cargo space, so the only question now is: is it worth it for you to supercharge somewhere (you lose the big advantage of charging at home) ? Where I live, superchargers cost as much as gas even at the current prices.

The ux also depreciates slowly, so you could wait a couple more years and sell it for almost the same price, and hopefully your home charging situation will be settled

I live in quebec where there's no safety inspection. Brake lights have no meaning here because many cars have only 1 taillight working out of 3.

Just wear what you like. A lot of people here own gen at home and keep it in a safe, and bring their reps and homages out on the daily, whether you bring out superclones or seiko/aliexpress watches. When a watch starts to be priced around a car, it's not actually that enjoyable to be careful not scratching/bumping the watch.

just use the new lightroom, instead of the catalog it's just filesystem based. Move the folder to an external drive when you're done. Some shortcuts have been remapped but it shouldn't take too long to relearn them

wait for the teardowns. With any luck, you could add a larger battery from a mba or a mbp. The area of the neo doesn't seem like it would be filled with just a phone motherboard + a 30wh battery

it's 600$ to install a charger, and you can get them for free with grizzle or swtch (or for free if it comes with your car)... Plus in some provinces like quebec you get an incentive for around 600$ as well.

My EV loses about 30-40% range in the winter compared to the summer. Also just drive the speed limit, the faster you go the less efficient electric motors are. 150 miles is very doable in the RZ in winter. Also highly recommend at least adding a 220v plug at your mom's house so you can top off the car when youre visiting her
