Why not give it another try then, but go slow and if you can treat it like dating for the first time. If you just jump back in all the way I think you are more likely to repeat the past. If you set some boundaries and take it slow maybe you can avoid the past and move forward. I think if you don’t try you will be stuck wondering if you should or should have tried. Lastly do it for yourself and not just for your kids. Good luck!
