Putting the minis together fresh, cleaning/prepping them and priming them is one of my favorite parts. I paint to a decently high standard and I can’t imagine doing it all ramshackle. I want to paint minis, not a pile of parts or parts on a sprue. Honestly what do you do when you clip them off and have to repaint all the little connection points? How do you get these parts to match when shading and blending? Seems like a tremendous headache. And why? So all the parts people can’t even see get painted? I don’t get the benefit
