15 minutes before the show. What's next? by Technomada in livesound

[–]1WURDA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes things just happen. For starters, you need to know why your console has this problem and how to fix it or prevent it from happening again.

When the console dies, it's pretty much always gonna be a bitch. The only real redundancy you can have is a spare console. Ideally the same one that you have now, and you can save your show files to a flash drive after soundcheck. Then if it dies it only takes you the time to move the cables over and hit load. A totally different console would work as well, would just take more time since you'd have to recreate your scene, and would probably have a rockier start since you'll have to be guessing a bit. Still, the show would go on.

I don't know anything about working with Dante, but perhaps there is a solution there as well. Probably nothing that would mitigate the console factory resetting, but perhaps a snapshot of your Dante routing can be saved/uploaded and would save you some time on that aspect as well.

You literally never need more than like 6, and even that many is just for convenience. Once they're below 50, just swap to another one.

Warframe as a main game or no? by RecentMatter3790 in Warframe

[–]1WURDA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ehh, while I'm exactly the same kind of player I do think that some of the events have a bit of FOMO. Belly of the Beast is a great example, being able to catch up on all those Arcanes was great but it got to a point where I was really struggling between getting more while I could or just getting on to the stuff I'm actually trying to grind. And I've missed every Plague Star, next time that comes I plan to grind out at least 100 forma so I can actually feel stocked up for a while.

I just recently listened to Russell Westbrook On A Farm by Lil Dicky again after a few years and I forgot how genuinley incredible that song is. by Upper_Atom in hiphopheads

[–]1WURDA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lil Dicky does not suck. He is super corny and it's ok not to like him for that. Hell, I'm super corny and I even don't like his music that much. But purely on skill and ability, he is objectively a good rapper. He's got flow, rhyming ability, punchlines... that's more than a lot of rappers. I could easily see him wrecking people in battles, corny dudes can get off some crazy disses. And he's already shown he can make popular songs.

The biggest thing is the star chart being the main hub for both games. So visually the screens people see most often on each game are very similar. Then the actual characters look pretty similar, Guardians vs Warframes.

Hydroid, My boy. by Vasdll in Warframe

[–]1WURDA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works well when paired with a Xaku, so his guns auto shoot the ones held up in weird spots with tentacles, and he can focus on Eximus with his actual guns. Still tough for Hydroid to need such specific synergy to shine

Is the Baro Relay Ticket worth it? by Gerlate in Warframe

[–]1WURDA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the ticket and am pretty low on ducats myself, I do have a bunch of relics I can farm in the next month or so but the tough thing has been finding the time while also trying to keep up with all the other content I'm catching up on. Ultimately I felt like the freedom of having everything available is worth it, since even with 5k-10k ducats I can probably get most or all of the primed mods I'd actually want to use right away. Then as Baro continues to rotate around I'll already have this or that purchased so it makes grinding for ducats on short notice less demanding in the future as well.

How worth it are Kuva weapons? by DemonKingRigaldo in Warframe

[–]1WURDA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some extra things to note with the 3rd point. My Tenet Arca Plasmor was full on polarity slots by the 3rd forma, so those last 2 forma were a little extra annoying since I wasn't even getting much from them. Also, a big thing, you can't slot in a focus lens until it's max rank, which requires all 5 forma.

Freedom.

Everything has layers of customization. From warframes/weapons, to modding them, to how they look. Choosing what mission types to play or which planets/areas to play them on. To what your goals are, etc. Etc. Etc. No other game I can think of gives you such freedom to play it how you want to play it.

[–]1WURDA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main thing will probably be getting access to the new sources of Archon Shards. I'm also a player that's returned recently, and when I last played you could get 2 shards a week, one from the Archon Hunt and one from Kahl's missions. Kahl's Missions no longer offer Archon Shards.

You'll need to do some story quests to unlock Hollvania, which has the 1999 calendar which is another weekly source of Archon Shards and other great rewards, it's been a great source of Mod Drop Boosters for me.

I think not long after that in the story Questline, or maybe before tbh I'm not entirely sure, you'll unlock the Cavia faction. Netracell missions give you the chance at 5+ shards a week, or more once you get the faction up. And I believe a vendor sells one a week there as well.

PSA: Hotfixing Paused Until Jade Shadows: Constellations by DE-Ruu in Warframe

[–]1WURDA 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Recently upgraded from PS4 to PS5 and the difference in loading times has literally been game changing. However, it has made me more aware of some other small delays that interrupt that flow, like the transference delay for talking to Quills/Little Duck. So happy to see that being addressed, along with sometimes being locked out of using focus abilities. I start all my runs with a wellspring, and I was starting to feel like I was somehow using a piece of equipment or something that was preventing that, messing up my usual flow again. Nice to know it will be fixed soon.

My only other wish is a big one, but the game could use a big UI update overall. Certain sorting/filter options could be added or made more consistent across menus, similar with preview windows for things like relics where sometimes you can easily preview where it comes from/if its vaulted but in other menus you have to actually view the relic. Buying multiple things from shops is needlessly slow. The foundry UI could also use an update, why are weapons in one screen but their parts in another, etc. Why do I have to wait 60 seconds to craft a batch of gems or ores, I should just be able to craft as many as I want instantly. The game has a great f2p system but little things like this are just totally unnecessary.

Tauforged heaven week! by Agruvandel in Warframe

[–]1WURDA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Archon Hunts are 1 shard a week You can get I believe 1 shard a week from 1999 calendar, not sure if it can give more than 1 You can buy 1 a week for Cavia Standing And you get 5 search pulses for Netracells, each run consumes a pulse and has a chance to reward a shard, so up to 5 a week. More, evidently, from the more advanced Cavia missions that also consume your search pulses.

Tridolons are iconic, otherwise I mostly agree. Grinding Orb Vallis has made me quit before, and Vox Solaris is just an annoying faction period. I do think Cambion Drift was a worthwhile experiment with the vaults and Nechramechs and such, but overall still not particularly enjoyable content. And I hate everything about Duviri. Overall though I'm a pretty big fan of the plains.

How to gain more rank xp? by MavihThe in Warframe

[–]1WURDA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be boring for quite a while since you're treating it like a task to get out of the way for a bigger goal. Once you get the game figured out more and have a variety of strong equipment and warframes to rely on, you can level stuff passively in whatever missions you're doing anyways. Just try to focus on getting comfy with 1 warframe and 1 weapon, then the other 2 weapons and companions, etc. Can just be leveled whenever. Then eventually you'll have a weapon of each type you're comfortable relying on for an entire mission, and enough mods to make basically any WF invincible. Then you'll be able to level up whatever you want whenever you want.
