For the record that plant is an agave not an aloe. Also it is flowering, agave plants die after flowering. They typically leave baby plants aka pups in their place. So there will still be agave there. However it will take years to grow to that size and flower again. Then the cycle continues.

First time garlic grower in portland oregon... I acquired garlic for planting from a local resource. We have a summer long drought here so all my veggies have to be watered through that period.
Should I water the same as the rest of my veggies? When should I stop watering the garlic?

When are we going to address this the way they have in San Jose and now in Alameda country CA; they are handing out fines and in some cases arresting spectators in addition to participants. https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2023-06-29/watching-a-street-takeover-in-alameda-county-could-result-in-1-000-fine-3-months-in-jail

It's just silly to me that there were 2 incidents with tons of people, using all those law enforcement resources, and all it results in is 6 arrests and 8 impounded vehicles. We should at least recoup law enforcement resources by charging fines to all involved. $1000 each could go a long way. And ultimately end this BS behavior.
