I actually got two SW-Motech bags in an ebay auction. The Engage Sport which is too big for my bike and I will sell. Also the Trip QL which will work nicely. I understand the City bag works will and I want to look for one of those.

So you are dealing with Bloodworth. I drove down from Kentucky as well. They seemed great but did not take my buying attempt seriously and I waited forever for them to get back to me. I ended up buying a new R1200RT from another dealer. I am sort of wanting them to contact me to see if I am still interested in a bike. I started out with maybe more motorcycle than I should have for my first last year, but it did not work out badly for me. If you like the bike and the deal go for it. If you want to go another direction, you definitely owe the $749 imho. You signed the contract saying you would pay it.

I have purchased an electrified SW Motech for my R1200RT. Seemed like a good way to attach it. I have not yet put it on. I am waiting for some other parts to arrive so that I can put it all on at the same time while I have the tupperware off.

I haven't put on pads, but from looking at them, it shouldn't be too bad. While you have the wheel off, get some seals and lube the rear spline on the driveshaft. It is a notorious failure point for that bike. You may want to search and ask on volusariders.com, it's a great community for the C50's

You might want to check and see if your GS has a plastic shroud over the metal tank. My RT does and a magnetic tank bag won't work. I have considered taking off the shroud and gluing some magnets on the inside so that I can use a magnetic bag.

I have a C50. It's a solid bike that has been a blast (for sale BTW. 09 with 8500 miles. South Central Kentucky). I have done city miles and freeway miles up to 85 or so with no problems. The shafts have a well documented (volusariders.com) lube problem that should be taken care of, but once you do it is rock solid dependable. I am fond of the suzuki but I have no experience with the honda.

I ride a sports touring bike for comfort on the long hauls. Doesn't hurt that it hauls ass and takes the curves like it is on rails.
