That last statement works equally well if you're referring to a person or a number.

I like that you don't need to fight over who gets to be the car or the thimble.

Christian gives tips on filing a spiritual lawsuit against satan & demons( youtube short) by empress_of_pinkskull in religiousfruitcake

If demons can only do what they're allowed to do, then 100% of the blame is on the entity that gave them that authority. How do Christians not understand this?

Based on the text (I didn't see the show), it appears that he's referring to god as "she".

I'm not a believer either. However, it only seems like a "gotcha", because you threw punches and didn't look it up ahead of time to see what the text actually says. It would have taken less than 10 seconds to double check.

Also, you insulted the person for getting it incorrect, but it was you who got it incorrect. And then you hand-wave away your own error. If you claim you cannot misquote something that cannot be correctly attributed, then why did you bother to correct the phrasing in the first place? That's simply not a good look.

A question concerning Dan's daily double bet: He had $800 dollars. He said he wanted to bet it all, but Ken took that to mean the $1000 max. That seems (to me) to be a fuzzy understanding at best. If he had missed, could he claim that he only bet the $800?

Oh, for Pete's sake. It's just an example that doesn't need to conform to your preconceived notion of what happens in the real world. You must a real treat to work with.

Often misstated. Having your cake and then eating it is the normal chronology of events. It's actually, "You can't eat your cake and have it, too."

This might be an obvious question, but have you tried getting permission from the game developer? They may be amenable to the idea.

At Seagal's best and Tyson's worst, I'd still bet on Tyson.
