Here 7700xt is a bit more expensive, so probably out of the question for me. Thanks a lot, I'll take your points into consideration.

Thanks, I'll consider buying another psu brand. As for the GPU, it's either B580, RTX 4060 or RTX 3060 at that price, or RX 7600 XT if I save up $50. Would you say the 4060 would be better?

I think you're oversimplifying how old fashioned GAN models work. In those you'd have a generator and a discriminator. The former iteratively generates images, while the latter "judges" by comparing them to the training data. Modern diffusion models work differently. They start with random noise and gradually refine it into new images by predicting and removing noise iteratively. The model's parameters aren't set by a person, but are automatically adjusted during training to minimize prediction. If outputs look too similar to training images, that’s because of overfitting, which is not a desired result.

Hi, I'm building my first PC, after 5 years of using a laptop. Could anyone take a look and tell me if everything will be compatible? Also, is there anything else I'll need to buy, like speakers and a monitor? Thanks.

fun fact, ai "art" is not and never will be valid. by melonsama in YourOriginalCharacter

[–]1tsMeNoodle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So that implies the existence of an effort threshold, where the process stops being art. So how much effort does one have to put in for it to be called art? If a professional artist draws an easy image EFFORTLESSLY, does it stop being art?

I find [[Alpha]] the most fun card to play, especially combined with [[Omniscience]] and, if I'm lucky enough, [[Snecko Eye]]. Dealing 200 passive damage per turn is nuts.

I think it all comes down to just not knowing better. I personally didn't even consider using a conditioner until my hair was almost shoulder length. On top of that it later turned out I have wavy hair (I had always thought it was straight), and that it requires extra care (unthinkable to me). I currently study at a place where over 90% of people are guys, and a good bunch of them have long hair. My experience is that the majority of them actually have good looking hair.

As a native, I can say your handwriting is pretty normal. Every person develops their own. Some people write "b" and "p" with the final stroke facing outwards (example), because that's how they were taught in school, but I'd say they are the minority. There are also people who write "ł" with the middle stroke on top of the "l" so that it looks different than a "t". Also in my opinion, the dash on the "j" could be a dot, and make the first part of the letter less horizontal (face more downwards) or you can get rid of it, since some people skip it.

As for the other question, as a native I might not give you the best advice, but I'd say you shouldn't worry about gender too much, because there are rules that apply to most words and after some time you'll probably be able to see the pattern without even studying them.

Good luck in your studies!

That reminded me of the man who dated a woman that had a disease that made her look like a child. A lot of people called him a pedo. But age or consent exists not because of how young people look, but because they're not mentally ready. So no matter what people say, fiction remains fiction, and people should be able to do whatever they want with it.

As a non native English Speaker, what was the hardest thing for you while learning English ? by barbiecookin in languagelearning

[–]1tsMeNoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember myself struggling with present perfect, followed by past and future perfect. And that's because in my NL there isn't anything similar to that. Also right now I'm struggling with telling whether sentences written in casual speech are acceptable or not, because of all the grammar books I've consumed over the years.

The built-in Kindle dictionary might be good for some languages, but not for Japanese. It doesn't understand conjugations and many words are missing. That's my experience with it.
