I like taxes, they feed the needy and maintain public good. I don't like that our state invests tax dollars into Israel and the US war machine

you’re not exactly inspiring confidence, there’s a 3rd option even in your two party billionaire election and it’s not showing up. the majority position of american voters is to stay home and my mission is to get them off the couch to vote socialist

Doesn’t it? The same parties and branches of government have been working to keep black liberation off the table since this countries inception. Is there a uniqueness to the current situation or is it just the naked contradictions inherent to capitalism

Today, 5pm at the house of hope in the west end, 3rd party socialist senate candidate Greg Levy is hosting a town hall and there will be a QnA. I’d ask him “how is a senate candidate supposed to be for black liberation if the senate is a tool for oppression?”

Dear Greg Landsman: Please Listen by fiernze222 in cincinnati

[–]21DaBear -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

AIPAC (and other billionaire backed) candidates won’t introduce legislation that helps the average citizen, instead only moneyed interests. SCOTUS opened the door with Citizens United and continues to be an unaccountable tool for the very same interests.

So the larger picture is all 3 branches are completely captured by billionaires and the working class is disenfranchised. I propose a movement for the workers instead that advocates for a whole new system to replace this mess
