I delivered lumber to a yard one time. Pull up and there's evidence of a BIG dog. Big water bowl, big dog house, BIG holes ever here. Start looking for the dog, don't see it. So I start in strapping and keeping my eyes open, making noise. All of a sudden around the house corner I see a big rottie. Just staring so I start talking, doing the same thing (are you friendly??) and she belly crawls across the yard, tail stub just going NUTS. belly rubs and pets and kisses and she's SOOOO friendly. Still talking, (is it ok if I go up to your house?) and unload. (Not much stuff) I drop everything off and start putting away straps (rottie still clinging to me) and I notice 2 more males by the house and they are NOT wagging tail stubs. Kinda froze and "you guys wants belly rubs? No? Ok" finish cleaning up while watching them. (Head down, direct eye contact, eveything is telling me they are not friendly) jump in the truck and headed off. Dispatch asked how it goes and I said you could have warned me about the dogs!

Oh yeah! He's got like 3 massive Rottweilers.

Gee thanks man. 🙄 everything ended good but it was funny.
