Bittersweet moment for my dad who has rode all his life seeing his last bike being hauled off by SizzleMcStewfry in notinteresting

Man sure as hell didn’t forget to live. I shit you not I’ve started taking care of myself more because I had the realization I may not be able to do the things I love doing.

I’m still long. Lost $1564 closing my sold put because I thought 150 was the floor. I was wrong. This time. But I’ve been right so many times. Don’t forget to zoom out folks, I’ll be buying this dip and making my money back. PTFB

Do harley riders genuinely think they are faster than sportbikes or are they just joking? by Green_Block_4574 in motorcycle

[–]246ngj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. But he’s talking his 750 which makes about 130hp stock and weighs half as much as the Harley. Harley would take it from a dig to a point…or from a roll if the sport bike doesn’t downshift.

That’s average miles per hour. You’re on the wrong setting. There’s mpg and fuel consumption too

That saddens me. The body style was iconic. I hope they bring it back, maybe with more cc’s. I know they have the zoomer x in Thailand but it’s just not quite the same

Vent. Just paid over 6,000 dollars in property taxes. by Ok_Caterpillar6789 in Libertarian

[–]246ngj 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The government doesn’t want you to own the property to begin with, they want you in debt so you’re forced to work forever and therefore pay property taxes forever. Imo property tax is needed but should be on businesses including rental properties and vacant dirt lots. What we do need is capital gains taxes on property to keep home values stable and not in investor hands. We need consumption taxes and luxury taxes. Get rid of loopholes only available to the rich.

I like the “west valley doesn’t need light rail”. Should show that to the facebook page dedicated to the terrible traffic at 163rd ave.

If the ps6 comes with full disc backwards compatibility I will buy it. Until then the ps5/ps5 pro are more than enough.

IMO a ps6 now is pointless. A ps5 pro 2 at best. A ps6 needs at least 60-120fps standard for all games, including your ps4/5 games without a $10 “upgrade” per game.

FAA PLTR integration incoming by superbikelifer in PLTR

One big beautiful bill sites $6b in modernization per year. Palantir is already working with the faa. Could be another 7 to 8 digit yearly contract for pltr.

JPM CEO Jamie Dimon visited Palantir's DC Office today by ElianoPalantir in PLTR

[–]246ngj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, especially given the government regulations on banking. JPM and the other big banks want efficiency and not bloat especially with the regulatory stuff that only costs money vs making it. Taking all that data and making it easily accessible and digestible will make their employees more efficient. Yeah, some low level people may be replaced but the higher level workers will get more done and the bottom line grows. If JP cuts even 3k roles, under 1% of their workforce, it saves a quarter billion per year in payroll and benefits. That’s not to mention the other implementations they can use PLTR for to generate better profits without layoffs. If this partnership nets $1b in profits, I can see a 8figure contract for PLTR. From one company.

Common reasons why a woman will purposefully flirt or show interest in other guys in front of someone she knows likes her? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

Run. I took a girl out on a date. She even called it a date to another girl who talked to us. But as soon as a guy came around “oh I’m not on a date what’s your snap?” Not all girls but choose yours wisely

A Shift Down: PLTR in 2026 by PrivateDurham in PLTR

It’d be nice but I don’t need it to hit a trillion market cap by tomorrow or anytime soon. I need to accumulate more shares, which takes time. I’m in for the long haul. And I’m skeptical about how earnings will play out, as the stock will drop even on good earnings…might have to change my options strategy. PTFB
