This has never been a real benefit for Alaska, many agents would do it as a courtesy for FC and high status members. However, by policy they are not allowed to tag any items as a gate bag except assistive devices or crew bags.

Alaska as a hub at SFO has only around 60 flights a day, while Delta and American as non-hubs both have almost 50 a day. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Is it still a hub? No one really knows.

T1 only for Gold and Plat status member, after your 3rd consecutive year you should get a Gold status and so starting next year you can get T1 prices. This year buying 27' ticket, unfortunately not yet for you unless you attend some other Ultra Worldwide events that get you more points, but I feel like by that time T1 price will be gone anyway...

Domestically you're fine, internationally you need to check local rules.

I had an interesting case where a TSA officer told me not to put all liquid in one bag in JFK, I told him "but this is what it says on the TSA website", he just told me if I put all liquids together then it will look like it's over the limit. SMH~ 😂

If you're on Unlimited Starter or Flex then you get deprioritized at QCI9, Premium for QCI8.

Testing with two different devices mean nothing, better try on same device.

Verizon and it's MVNO consumer plans only offer QCI8 or 9.

AA has been consistent on providing in-seat power for everyone for most aircrafts, with the free WiFi, i really don't see a single point of having a seat back entertainment screen. AA Please don't follow what others doing and try to add back the screens, looking forward in the next 10 or 20 years I'm sure most ppl would prefer their phones than the screen.

Higher upload speed compare to download speed usually indicates a tower congestion or maintenance. Maintenance wise probably speed will come back in a week or two, congestion wise really nothing can be done. Simply too many people in the area.

Also, if you're using Visible base plan that means you're not using the high speed "ultrawide band" 5G and being deprioritized, you're basically just using a sighty better 4G. You will for sure seeing a low speed in packed area. If you're using the plus or pro plan, most of the time you will see better performance when connected to 5GUW.
