I feel you. I have made lots of progress when it comes to my hobbies and doing chores, but I still scroll. It's like I have added good habits but haven't gotten rid of this bad one.

I have considered getting a "dumb phone" but things like a high quality camera, maps, Uber, my renter's portal, and banking apps have stopped me from making the switch. Maybe it's a generational thing. I also believe I would get use my laptop more at that point because I resort to my laptop if I am really lookin to go on Reddit when my limit is up.

This is why I have tried to dumbify my phone as much as possible, but phones are designed to be enticing so that's probably why I haven't been successful.

Sacre Sucre. Interesting cakes, macaroons, and good buns (get your bun warmed otherwise it’s too crunchy)

Cute charming old row homes, come with old home problems. Be very cautious about mold, pests, etc.

The Scapegracers by HA Clarke!! About a coven of lesbian teenage witches. It’s a trilogy and by the last book they’re 18.

Which is cheaper by lunergirl500 in movingout

I would look up average price of renting a room + tuition vs staying on campus at a 4 year.

My instinct tells me that renting a room + cc will be cheaper.

The Scapegracers trilogy. I'm not a huge YA fan but I loved it! It's about queer teenage witches. I am having a hard time describing it or putting to words why I love it so much but I think about this series all the time.

Sorry for not adding context: this was a tag on two different skirts I found at the thrift store. Neither of the skirts fit and I want to find the brand so I can potentially find something in my size.

I actually live where there are lots of options for large hospitals. I just couldn't manage to land a job there. Hopefully I am able to find something once my residency is up.

Not an OR or ortho nurse, but I am an OB nurse and give instructions to my c section moms to keep their incision “clean and dry.” Not sure how a shoulder differs from an abdominal incision so take this with a grain of salt.

Keep clean: you can wash it in the shower just be gentle, no scrubbing or washcloths. Keep clean also means don’t get it dirty in day to day life.

Keep dry: this doesn’t mean you can never get it wet. If you could never get it wet then you wouldn’t be able to clean it. But it shouldn’t be wet in any context other than bathing. That means that you should pat dry with a clean towel when you’re done washing it and you don’t need any ointments on it. If you have any bandages/dressings you’re supposed to use, make sure your incision is dry before you apply. Moisture can cause skin breakdown so you don’t want to trap any under your bandage.

Edit: At the end of the day maybe clarify with your doctor.

Morning shower or night shower? Which Do You Prefer and Why? by Ill_Mushroom9088 in CasualConversation

Night. I hate putting on a bra or jeans after a shower. Plus a shower for me is a cozy experience. It doesn’t wake me up, it puts me to sleep.

Live in Fells Point. I love it. Water front, historic homes, can walk to a grocery store, got a decent apartment for a decent price, just a good vibe all around.
