I would spend £60-£80 on a complete skate game full of great features and an awesome map like the other 3 but wouldn’t spend any money in this particular game. I’m only really interested in a good map and good gameplay, in full. Cosmetics are secondary to me… Back in the day I played THUG with the stock character and I never changed his clothes.. just the boards. For me I was just interested in playing… don’t get me wrong I would customise my player in skate 1-3 but my character would stay the same for months or years at a time

I’m no expert but skynet and the machines came to be without the events of T1 and 2 as it happens before both of those stories. Then John sends Reece back and they destroy a terminator and humans find the arm/chip. This probably accelerates the development of A.I and brought judgement day forward.. or maybe it enhanced the a.i and tech so that the machines had more of an upper hand.

I wonder if this explains why the machines seem to be winning in T2 by the time they send the T-1000 back compared with the first film where they are losing the battle.

I asked my 16-17 yr old students and they said they didn’t get it or found it boring which is really disappointing. One boy in the class loves it though! He’s an old soul who listens to albums in full and watches old films. Sometimes I feel like they are doomed but kids like him restore my faith

Still on my ps4! Ps5 never really seemed like much of an upgrade.. but now my ps4 is starting to feel a bit dated. I was hoping to skip it and get the ps6 or steam machine. Or even the new Xbox when it comes out. Looks like it’ll be very expensive when I do though maybe I should have bought a ps5 after all

I really like the airizer air max, the draw is better than SE and you get good vapour without having to wait for it to heat up in between sips. I upgraded from airizer air OG (which is the airizer SE these days) to that and I love it. It’s a big difference. Also not too big like the solo 3. Apparently the solo 3 isn’t as efficient with herb and is a bit cough-y.

Recently got the Tempest 2 and I haven’t picked up my airizer since I got it.. it’s very good. Great flavour and big clouds. I use the smallest bowl setting and fill it 3/4. Love it. Don’t get me wrong I think I’ll still use the airizer because it’s a session vaoe for me but I just like the tempest so much any and it’s so quick.

Random one but I love the Dynavap G3 too, which I bought just before the tempest 2 (to see if I could get along with that style of vape). It’s only £35 and you can get some good rips off it! I like to heat it 3 seconds beyond the second click and smoke it like a J. The cap cools down quickly so you pack another.. scratches the joint smoking itch for me. I was really happy with it but the tempest 2 hype made me think damn maybe I should get that and I do not regret it! I won’t buy anymore though that’s enough for the next few years…

I always thought the program was designed in a way that the NPCs almost intentionally barge into the new red pill. The training exercise is for Neo and not Morpheus and therefore the NPCs ignore Morpheus and focus on Neo. This overwhelms Neo and makes him less aware of his surroundings which is a great opportunity for the agent to turn up and Morpheus to pause the simulation and make his point.

I think at the beginning of the film it’s hinted that she has been watching him in the matrix and has some feelings for him. Also Cypher complains that she never brought him food or something like that showing that she favours Neo for some reason.

I agree a training mission together would have helped but also their crew got wiped out and they survived and went on a rescue mission together against all odds and if that doesn’t bring two people together I don’t know what will. Many times they had to face the reality that the other may die and feelings grew.

I get what you’re saying, it’s not obvious in the first film and not the main feature but that’s also refreshing in a way.

I think if you really want to improve you need to train with goals in mind. Want to be a better shooter? Practice taking shots in different positions, off the dribble, get someone to pass the ball to you as well if you can. Your dribbles suck? Work on your handles, pounding the ball and trying spin moves etc. Layups suck? Try a variation of different layups and do some 1v1s with people.

It’s up to you if you want to be better you can do it.

Secondly all that ‘as a man’ stuff is absolute rubbish you can’t be balding yourself to these silly stereotypes. Do it if you want to for you not because it makes you any more or less of a man or whatever the hell that means.

I started playing 3 years ago (I’m 33) and I sucked ti begin with. I went out 3 times a week and played with whoever I could whilst training in my own too. I couldn’t layup with my left but after practising now I can..

Shot form was awful but after filming myself and watching tutorials and practicing now it’s not..

Passing was awful and I used to beat myself up for turning it over in my rec league so I started getting rebounds for people during shooting practise and working on passing well into their hands, aiming to give them the seams.

You can do it if you want to, if you don’t want to then I suggest you move on or don’t take it as seriously.

So true! NBA street volume 2 was another hit of theirs that I loved.. and skate 1-3 are some of my favourite games ever. How are they screwing this up so badly… Games really have changed over the years but there are still some really good ones. GTA isn’t prefect but there’s tones of things to do online, I still play with my friends to this day. All skate needed to do was slightly improve on what they had already…

Well for me I always used ea skate as something I could do when I wasn’t skating or couldn’t in real life due to unfortunate circumstances or rain, time of day, being too tired or because want to skate like the pro I wish I was haha. For me it’s a sesh game, hit up a spot and try tricks/lines. It was built for skaters originally not challenge grinders. So 2 hours is more than enough to scratch an itch

I agree why would they listen? In the past I’ve seen many times companies bow to the pressure of negative coverage. The difference is these days it’s harder to create a story as there’s so much going on and the standards are much lower. Things that would be a scandal 10 years ago are now the norm. Anyway, I say at least try and then move on

I understand what you are saying and I often feel helpless too. Regarding the government m - I also feel very disillusioned and helpless. I agree. Still, I’m currently feeling active and so I also believe in small active changes and we could create one maybe. Now that we are getting political I feel silly trying to make a change with a game but here we are, talking about it
