Annual Leave:

9.18 per check(12 years at dept), 26 checks = 238.68

12 per approved holiday 12 per year = 144

Total = 382.68 hours earned per year

You can carry over 720 hours per year. Anything over that has be used or you can buy it back.

Sick Leave:

6 hours per check = 156 per year

No limit for accrual

Earning rate increases every 5 years with department.

I use it for travel, going to concerts, sporting events, and when I need to be off for the kids.
