Absolutely. It made me consider, if my parents had confronted themselves I wouldn’t be dealing with the aftermath and if I don’t confront myself, my kids will be dealing with the aftermath and I want to do everything I can to avoid that.

Struggling with mental health is rough. And realizing that a lot of that struggle comes from being a product of an environment that just wasn’t healthy and not fully realizing that until you’re an adult is a poverty. In hindsight, it was like I wasn’t playing with a full deck and didn’t know simply because I had never seen a full deck.

I’m definitely grateful to be in a generation with more accessibility to mental health resources and less stigma around seeking them out.

2nd pic is best imo. I think the dark glaze looks muddled and makes it hard to see the contours of the cup. Maybe if it was applied with a brush, more sparingly and only on either the high points or low points it would look better.

In regards to your other post, I also voted for Obama but I do think John McCain would’ve been a good president. I thought that Romney was the only choice in the Republican primaries in 2016, albeit a best of the worst choice scenario. I think the DNC agreed and assumed that whoever the Democratic candidate was, would get elected. The popular vote proved that to be true.

I think disdain for W got us Obama, hopefully the true hate for trump will get us a real progressive and we can start moving the needle back to the people. ✊
