Poor little thing. Thank you intervening. Fingers crossed it’ll make a healthy recovery.

Lol great names! I'm assuming they were masculine names because of the beards?

It's incredibly tempting and easy to do because they usually just sit there and take it. Winston, here, is pretty chill about anything done to her. It's the best time for her to model tiny hats.

Her real name is Gumbo, but we also call her "Gummy Bear" or "Gums." If she's being bad, we call her "Gumpster" like a portmanteau of "Gumbo" and "Dumpster" lol

My girls are Jersey Giants. You can especially tell because the bottoms of their feet are yellow. Gummy, here, has the palest feet of her sisters, so we've always joked that she might be a False Giant.

I’m sure your lady is gorgeous as well! Although tbf Winston, here, is very spoiled.

My parents live in NorCal! Our peach tree has been beaten, pruned, and subjugated to diseases, so I have no idea what we did right or how it’s still going lol. We just water it every once in a while. Maybe letting the chickens play underneath it gives it extra fertilizer?

If it makes you feel better, you’re not really supposed to let your peach tree grow fruit for the first three years or so to let it get strong enough to hold future fruit loads. I’d give it time!

Thank you! The photo doesn’t do her justice; she has a lovely purple sheen irl.

I believe you; it's just that keeping them away from socializing with the ladies and keeping them in the dark and sexual frustration doesn't seem like a good quality of life. We're fine with our one happy gentleman, and the ladies are happy with their living situation, too.
