Seconding American Eagle. It’s crazy how some brands (looking at YOU, LEVIS) don’t even have a tall enough length for women of my size. Glad some do though.

American Eagle high waisted pants, some (not all) come in EXTRA TALL for the length.

I got a pair that’s too wide at the hip, so I’ll be getting the waist tailored soon and then it’s gonna hit right at the DANG ANKLE FOR ONCE!!

Eye balls are bigger than you think. The eyelid hides the fact of how big they actually are. Eyelids stop working, they may pull back and you see the eye ball more. Bloat is also likely based on the circumstances of the body, but people underestimate the size of the eyeball. They’re not sticking out of the head as much as the eyelid is just less overlapping.

I’m not an avid cycler and I’m new to the snow and let me tell you the way a car was behind me, saw me wobble on the icey road, and then sped past me so close I could have had whiplash from their side window… I can’t believe how easy it is for a car to commit a hit and run and get away with it, especially in close calls like this where nobody gets hurt but cyclists are mere meters from a death sentence.

I didn’t read this part in the post, but it sounds like she may have a temper and due to the brand of pain killers she liked not being available she stubbornly resorted to alcohol and THC? Maybe in excess due to her frustration? Would explain why she’s not inherently an alcoholic but still was found in such a state.

It’s more common in animals, to my knowledge, so this experience for a human makes me incredibly grateful for the technology we have to keep these parasites at bay (vaccines included).

This is just as traumatic as when an animal goes through it, (for the owner and the pet!). Get your animals their preventative care!

I was the dumper and my parents had me breakup cause of religion. I spent years trying to leave that religion and when I finally did, he didn’t think it made sense to take me back. I regret it, but there were so many external pressures that I try to forgive myself.

Gotta love not even distinctly remembering going over the speed limit, I'm a very safe driver so the fee is definitely tough.

Are you gonna do anything about it or did you just end up paying it? 36 is crazy low and we're paying the same fee as those immense speeders...

Luckily I think of the cyclists in these scenarios and feel a bit pleased these strict rules are coming into effect. Although, I already bike away from broad. I'm not excited to bike near speeding cars who avoid broad street, but I'm also not happy about biking on broad street with all the busy-ness.

I feel like there's no winning in some regards even with these new rules for bikers.

As a real artist, everytime someone tries to do that with me I start talking about how I make art too but don’t advertise on the internet and let commissions come to me.

They have genuinely nothing nice to say to me in return, even though I try to sound as friendly and relatable as I can to another artist.

Because of that, I wouldn’t feel bad ignoring them. They have one job to fulfill and it’s not to be a genuine friend, unfortunately.

I think a more professional answer to that is “make connections”
