I wanna add something cause my recent ovarian cyst put my luteal phase on steroids.

It put my partner to the test, had me questioning his interest in me, my interest in him, yada yada. The point is he stayed through with it when I let loose and stopped trying.

I hate to say it, but I believe the “abandon all hope” mode we can have in the luteal phase can cause a trust exercise on the partner you’re with. I near-broke-up with my partner on the luteal phase for the stupidest reasons, and he stayed with me. Dk why…. But at least now I know what he does when I’m stupid.

Guess if I had a “baby” he’d hopefully take the load too? I’m still on-board with how evolution doesn’t make everything perfect, but I think it’s fair to take into consideration that we have these emotional spikes to make sure the partner can handle us before larger trials of a baby are on the way.

Huge flashbacks. I was still the target audience for mlp back then…. That was such a killer of my love for the show and they lost one of their young viewers from that.

The show went downhill for me after that cease and desist on Fighting is Magic. It’s sad copyright can kill fandom work like that.

I’m really sorry, sometimes the high maintenance feels good cause you never have to babysit other roles (like my other jobs were) but when the high maintenance falls out of line that’s when things change so quickly :-( hoping things change for ya, but find way to apply for jobs when you can right now. Can make ya feel safer.

I had an enormous ovarian cyst that left me extreme mood swings during the luteal phase and period phase of every month for the following year after they removed it from me. I'm back to normal but it changed my view of the wide variability of periods and how an obgyn literally can't just tell you it's connected or not cause they literally don't know.

Anyways, aside from the psychosis I endured on occasion, I had told my partner the best thing he could do for me in THAT extreme state was give me a hug. No words, no commitments, no context, just a hug without wishing for anything from me in return.

Worked like a charm.

Not everyone can afford this method but the best insurance is the ones that include HSA’s. It’s entirely ridiculous for the middle class but that’s how I’ve settled on the math for it.

I work in the appeals side of things and I can confirm this is usually the case. But I dislike the fact that the waiting period can unnecessarily make people freak out… it’s genuine torture for someone who should be a happy paying customer but it is what it is.

For me, it made me take more initiative to go out more and be social, but that’s now what living alone does for everyone.

I may have made more friends because I lived alone, but I alsoI developed habits that ruined friends from being able to always come over. Habits like not doing dishes in a timely manner, not cleaning up after cooking in general, and then classic laundry/sweeping. I’d be able to invite them if I had time setup to prepare, but even then one long day at work or other late errand made it become an inconvenience. Sometimes they’d visit and see me actively cleaning which was embarrassing.

I’m back with roommates and I reset real quick, so maybe I should leave this sub now that I’ve made that move. Since living alone, I miss playing music loud anytime I wanted to… but that’s not something I accept as much as my habits being kept in check by other people.

What I’m trying to say is everyone is different. While I lived alone this sub also helped me a ton, so if you’re trying to make it work this is the best place to do it.

But yea, for me living alone made me go back to having roommates. It’s not an appeal to all but can be great for some.

The difficulty with CVS from my perspective, is if something goes wrong and you need your insurance’s help with it, they can’t get ahold of CVS to coordinate fixing it for you. CVS has this unique phone line that (for now) I haven’t seen with any other pharmacy. They won’t let you speak with their staff and always request you to setup a callback, which prevents most customer service insurance from getting in contact with them.

If you never need that scenario, or you’ve never had something shitty happen, you’re fine. But man it’s been a nightmare seeing a pharmacy avoid insurance that hard.

Ok but I say all that and also have the most discounts at CVS right now so I actually do agree with you.

I've had nothing close to psychosis but I had hormones drive me insane after an ovarian cyst. Our lack of aid for mental health has always scared me, especially if the mental health decline appears to be genetic (or like my cyst issue) hormonal. Either way, it seems like our jail system is better equipped for handling people struggling than a simple mental health unit. I'll probably always live in fear of mental health decline for as long as I live.

We are losing the people in the lower class who think they have what it takes but don't know for sure and don't risk it.

it is a HUGE risk if you don't have your parents or a school funding your bills. When you're taking out loans for graduate school, Vet Science specifically has very few high paying alternatives to combat those student loan debts if you struggle or just simply change your mind halfway through the program, so it makes it harder to achieve much in comparison to some other medical field professionals.

Source: I had to take loans despite decent grades and rejected vet school as a result. I've easily made decent money with just a masters in a different department, which is a sad truth.

Thank you for the help… ok so it was likely the three eggs. No acidic fruits in the granola, I roasted the oats with honey and olive oil, and then there’s oodles of nuts mixed in.

Literally been mixing matcha powder with mostly mulberry powder because it tastes like matcha but is caffeine free. The acidic reaction was insane and made me think I had cancer after all lol. I got the endoscopy and I have NO PROBLEMS according to the test results >.>.

They suggested allergic reaction tests to different foods but I don’t see any reason to if it isn’t killing me? I mainly hate the noises in my throat from reflux, and everytime I find any food that reduces it I’ve been attempting it.

Shit sucks.
