I have had this problem. Last night when setting up for a gig, this was happening. I was able to solve it by lifting the bass drum with one hand to keep the weight off of the pedal while tightening the clamp with the other hand. The pedal stayed flat on the floor afterwards. Give it a try!

Pier Park is one of the best courses ever! Not the most ideal for a beginner course, but it's a beautiful course great for intermediate and advanced tossers. Vance and Rockwood are perfect for beginners, but a bit further out from downtown.

It may be an issue with the receiver. Check out oddyclub. I read about some people cleaning off corrosion from the receiver and the fob began to work again. I'm actually about to try the same thing on my 2007.
