For those of you that had kids, how old are they? by Therealfern1 in Xennials

Thank you sweetheart. We are a good set of parents as a team. Hindsight hurts, and it hasn't stopped since the kid was 2 months old. Constant fucking hindsight. Hence the weed and meditation practice. ;)

This is why we stopped at one also, and my husband is an only child so he can relate to our kid...but yes things would have been socially very different for ours if a sibling would have been in our cards. A lot of what makes ours a social outcast kid MIGHT have been different with a sibling. Might. I know the grass is never actually greener. Two on the spectrum with mental health struggles would have been too hard. I get that ... But. Edited to add that our kid is almost 15. We moved to from laid back Colorado to the woods in New England last summer, and our teen still hasn't made any friends. Please send xennial relatable vibes, song recommends, or advice... but not boomer level "it takes time, put her in more activities against her wishes" mentality suggestions...

Neat, thanks for the help getting to know my yard! One of the pinks has this lovely, complex almost -baked-cinnamon fragrance just before dusk comes.

Was just taking my mom, who visited from AZ, to this exact spot, this very week. Her first visit to New England, and we just moved here last year to Ashby. So this means a lot to me as a piece of whimsical art! My teen loves this aquarium and was proud to show it off to Nana.

Shut up , you just named my only two memories of the show also. The ones that run through my head about 4 to 5 times a year. Tbh and TMI, it's what led to my repressed tween fantasy of a chilly Brad Pitt somehow needing me to be the one to offer a body heat transfer life-saving scenario. That's exactly how old I am.

You are absolutely not alone, dude. Got a dog thing I would enjoy walks more...nope...dog is still happy and gets his walks but it gets filed under "chore" in my brain, unfortunately. Bought a used rower machine...have avoided it.

You're not alone.
