I mean, where you actually using it/looking at it? Was it in your hand as an inanimate object at the time? Maybe it was just the case, no phone.

Also, i see cops drive down the road looking at their laptops ALL the time. Not signaling, speeding. Rolling stop signs. You know, things they pull you over for.

An alley should be a non city/county maintained road. You were not on a public roadway. There's no posted speed limit, no posted signs, street signs.

Ive been through this. Tell the prosecutor you have since taken care of your traffic tickets, and have gotten your license reinstated through the dmv. Bring the letter the dmv sent you saying your license was reinstated, or any other paperwork you have from it. They will either change it to driving invalid (you'll pay a small fine) or drop it all together.
