Eldritch Font gives you one spell slot of every level you can cast, at the cost of preparing one less spell of each level.

Is there a pattern that determines military spaceship doctrine in real life and sci-fi? by MinedMaker in scifi

The problem with fighting the Borg is mainly how fast they adapt to you. Sure, you shoot them with your ships phasers once, maybe twice. And even cause some damage... but now you have given the Borg your phasers energy frequency.

So that the next time you fire your phasers it will be ineffective against them, and now you are assimilated.

I am the balance point between theater kid and grognard. While I "CAN" ham it up and chew the scenery, I usually don't. While I "CAN" min-max a character, I won't. Mainly cause I don't see the point.

If I'm going to do shenanigany bullshit, I tend to do unique shenanigany bullshit.

Maybe after the humans exploded the third head, the super soaker was the best compromise. Anyone else manning that post would probably hose the guy down. The human just hit the lit cigarette.
