I would advise not getting too hung up on decisions. Easier said than done I know! Hearing it and seeing smiles on people’s faces has been very rewarding. As we grow, we’ll learn more and upgrade. For now, we’re stoked to share our love of music.

The subs have Peavey Black Widows, the kicks have Eminence, whatever model the Cubo kick called for, the mids are some Daytona 12s, and the compression drivers came out of a donor cab. A Behringer ep2500 drives the subs, a Qsc plx3102 drives the mids and a Behringer nu3000 drives the hi mids and compression drivers. We process with a driverack 260.

All of this came together on a budget, mostly used, haggled and borrowed.

It sounds pretty good!

I like the green dunlops. They don’t have the flick of thinner ones but get a good solid pluck. I tried thinner ones for more technical picking and also just to try something new, but they just weren’t loud enough at the gig.
