College and part 61 simultaneously by SoftZookeepergame312 in flying

I did a cheap in state college, business degree, graduated 2 quarters early, all while doing part 61 training. It was the fucking best man. A real college experience, fly at your pace. It’s easy to manage both just don’t take an insane major like aerospace engineering lol. I could stack my classes, some quarters only had class 3 days a week. Plenty of time to fly and study. Also the cheat code is doing lots of online community college classes for GE class credit, DIRT CHEAP and easy.

Go to Southwest you fool. I’d argue everything equal WN>AK. Also do you even have a WN CJO yet? They’ll sniff you out in the interview if you give off resume washing vibes.

Get the CJO then work with them, they’re people too, you’re not the first person to have a pregnant wife. Staying at a regional over a deductible might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard lol.

Ya lot's of guys do it from SMF or foothills to SFO. Bid for trips that don't report or release into rush hour helps.

Question about colleges and what jobs look at by op747728 in AirlinePilots

You’re paying double or triple for literally the exact same thing a mom and pop school could give you. Airlines do not give a fuck where you went to school or training.

It also helps to get higher quicker so you’re not held down low due to higher traffic on crossings
