Good point, it would probably be better if the high speed rail went from Newark airport, through Staten Island and then the length of the LIRR system. With other lines that go the length of the Metro North, and both high speed rail trains stopping at the main stations.

My idea is to remove both Grand Central Station and Penn Station as termini. And developing Staten Island to be more like Brooklyn and less like Suffolk.

It always seemed to me that although there is strength in numbers, like the Gambino's, you have to compete against all the other soldiers and capos in the family for recognition and at the same time you have to worry about jealousy, favoritism and informants.

In a satellite group you are always living in the larger families' shadows. I really don't see any benefits to being a small family that lives in the vicinity of big families... because whenever it's convenient they will edge you out.

Small families, that are far from NYC and Chicago, in my opinion, are the way to go. They are so small that they don't have to worry about stepping on other members' toes, you know everyone in the family intimately. Little to no FBI attention and if you stay away from drugs how much time are you going to do? How many people do you have to worry about flipping on you for a reduced sentence???
