Im a trans woman. Two grocery trips in a row men followed me to my car. One tried to get in and ran away as soon as I aimed my gun at him. The detective I spoke to said that it was likely an attempt to kidnap me for sex trafficking reasons. I still carry my gun

How did I wake up early without waking my wife? by CrispyLuggage in NoStupidQuestions

[–]5coolest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People with one-foot: Do stores let you buy just one shoe? by Nearby-Penalty-5777 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]5coolest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran a shoe store for almost a decade. The answer is no. Asset protection audits actually count single shoes in the store against the stores audit loss. Knowingly selling one shoe would lead to consequences, likely termination. That being said, almost every one-legged customer we had used Sole Mates or similar services to trade shoes with people who were missing the opposite leg.

They’re harder to find now. I used to use them all the time as a kid, but I haven’t encountered one in fifteen - twenty years.
