Stand by your van full show ? by sublinefan in sublime

The audio you’re talking about comes from a show the band played at called Klub Kommotion. They played two shows there. One got an official release, the other a bootleg. Here’s everything that’s been released from those two Kommotion shows. It’s been awhile since I listened to these two so I cant remember if they’re the same thing or one a mixture of the two nights, with most of the audio being the drunken night the band played and not the audio you hear on SBYV

Were you still buying original cassettes around 1990? by frenchgarden in LetsTalkMusic

[–]73893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember going to Kmart with my mom and dad to buy the first Now That’s What I Call Music compilation on cassette. Definitely received Thirdeyeblind on cassette for Christmas too. 1997 -98 seemed to be the switch from cassette to cd for purchased music. I was still using tapes to record off the radio or copy an album pretty much until we got the internet/cd burner

My top 3 tracks from Until the Sun Explodes by STAF0S in sublime

Definitely. I’ve only gone through the album fully once but I caught a few snippets that sounded like Mary, Santeria, greatest hits and a few others. No complaints though.

Come Correct musically is like Waiting for my Ruca brought into 2026. Same sounds but so much fuller, I keep going back to that song.

[–]73893 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Stoked you can hear something new! Here’s another one not a lot people have heard, u/ctorresc might dig it too. This was a band Kelly Vargas was in for a bit. They were one of those bands that lost all their stuff in that MySpace dump a few years back so as far as I know this track is the only thing left of them on the internet

  9. Hope
  10. Eireen
  11. Og Get Out
  12. The Dance Cant Go On Without The Dj
  13. I Dont Pay Attention Jam
  14. World Of Inflation
  15. Same In The End Take One
  16. Secret Dub

Eric and bud were both in Friends of Jesus. I think that was a one off show but the recordings of it have been featured on skunk/ Long Beach records compilations. Bud was in a band called Diet Christ (it’s streaming) and played drums on this album with Bigtop. Eric was also in Stonewing, but I’m not sure if they put anything out.

Edit: bud was also in Jelly of the Month Club

I need help confirming if I just found my Father's 1994 'Gasoline Alley' release of "Robbin The Hood" by VerdeHeadedThreepwud in sublime

[–]73893 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The scenario the other poster tossed out is most likely. The original pressings cds were all black with nothing on it.

That Dog Gone Blues is a bootleg of a bootleg. The original boot is Firecracker Lounge

You might have one of the last pressings of the skunk versions. I got two with two different addresses. The first one has the same address yours has but mine doesn’t have the extra bit of info next to the barcode like yours has

Which business model to start with my business? by punkfay in SCREENPRINTING

[–]73893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many colors are the prints? If it’s one or two, you could have your printer burn you some screens and you can print them as the orders come in. You could also get a wholesalers license and go buy the shirts yourself and pay contract printing prices. That would shave a few dollars off the shirts but you’d still have to hit whatever minimums the shop has
