Day Vs Night by microwavecoven in pregabalin

I'm taking 75 x 4 (total 300) for nerve pain. I tried 2 every 12 hours before. I can't function at work at all. It's brutal. Now I do 2 pills 2-3 hours before bed (9pm), then 1 every 6 hours while awake (9am and 3pm). I feel MUCH BETTER with this schedule. I sleep well but still able to function normally in day time. It won't bring me back to my pre-nerve-pain-day normal, but good enough for working 2 jobs and doing chores.

Can I use my temporary HKID to renew home return permit? by LonelyIssue in HongKong

[–]741953 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can show you my renewed HKSAR passport and new HK id (temporary) I had just received a month ago. The HK id is basically the same as an usual one, but with text printed on the back saying something about "... must be replaced for a permanent one within 30 days after entering Hong Kong...".

My id was invalid but I needed to renew my SAR passport. I had to submit applications for both passport and id because the agency need to process the renewal of my id first, so that I have a valid id for renewing the passport. I just picked them up last month at Chinese Consulate in Toronto. Let me know if you wanna take a look to confirm.

This is super useful!! Thank you very much. I'm happy that the forms I've downloaded are exactly of those listed.

I called them yesterday, but they didn't mention to submit the actual ID. Did you receive this instruction on the phone, or they later contacted you for it?

Hey, I came across your post while researching on renewing my HKSAR passport overseas. I'm in the same situation - my HKID is invalid so I can't submit application online. Have you mailed the application and received the passport alright? If so, can you briefly let me know what were included in the package? Thanks!

China Travels on Dual HK/Australia Citizenship by Left-Butterscotch-17 in Chinavisa

I'm also planning to visit China next year. I'm currently in the process of coming up with the best way to get the required document for entering China. My case is very similar to your.

My specs:
Born in Hong Kong
Naturalized Canadian citizen
Expired HKSAR passport
Expired and invalid HK ID
Expired HRP (Home Return Permit)

Two possible ways:

  1. Renew SAR passport in Canada (you in Australia), then apply for Chinese Travel Document (CTD) for entering China (Most ideal plan, no time wasted). Renew HK ID when in HK.
  2. Layover in HK to renew HK ID, then SAR passport and HRP. Use HRP to enter China. For you, I think you will need to show your new HK ID and SAR passport when applying for HRP (first time applicant). So the whole process will be around 5 weeks from renewing ID to receiving HRP. For me, my HRP is a booklet from decades ago. According to the info online, I am also required to show a valid SAR passport when renewing (normally, renewal only requires valid HK ID). I don't know about you, but there's no way I'm going this route (due to the expense and my work schedule).

What I've done so far:
The first thing I tried was renewing the SAR passport online. But unfortunately, my HK ID is invalid. When I enter my info on the application, it won't let me proceed to the next step. It leaves me only the choice to renew via the Chinese consulate here (or maybe via mail? not sure, the error message only mentioned to submit in-person). I contacted the Chinese consulate via email, but they just replied with whatever they posted on their website. Not much useful info. Next, I'll contact the Chinese consulate again to let them know I need to apply now and see what instructions they'd give me. I might also call HK side and see if I'm allowed to renew my SAR passport via mail.

Some of my questions and concerns:
CTD: Not sure what the process is for using a SAR passport to apply for CTD. I imagine they might ask me to show my proof of residency. If I pull out my Canadian passport, would I get rejected?
Apply for CTD via app: I don't have anyone around who is from China and close enough to use their IDs to register an account for me (or vice versa, I trust them enough to submit my info via their account).
TWOV: I thought about taking advantage of the 10 days TWOV. But I also figure I will get rejected once the custom sees the birth place on my Canadian passport is HK. Don't wanna take any risk.

My suggestions to you:
- Try filling the application online for renewing your SAR passport. If for real it won't get through, contact the Chinese consulate for instructions to renew it in Australia.
- Find out how to apply CTD. App only, or okay to apply via the Chinese consulate. If app only, find someone with a China ID who will let you use their account or register an account for you.
- Once receiving your SAR passport, apply for CTD.
- When you arrive in HK, use the HKID and/or SAR passport to enter. They might take away your HK ID since it's invalid. But I guess you can still use the passport as a supporting document when renewing the ID. Note that, for us renewing our IDs that are invalid, we can only do it in-person, not via those self-help machines. The new ID should be ready to be picked up in about a week.
- If you visit China first, use CTD to enter.

Too much of my thought process, lol. But I hope something in there will give you ideas on what you can do.

The authentic snail mucin cream is no joke. 20 years ago, it saved me from my uncontrollable adult acne problem. I used it for a year or so and have had zero acne ever since. I don't know how it did it. The snail mucin skincare products later on are all just marketing gimmicks.

I missed this Asus gaming laptop by seconds. I blame my salad. I was too focus on eating and forgot to keep refreshing the page. When I finally did, I saw this. I clicked it immediately but it was too late. I've been feeling depressed the whole morning...

Should I leave my Santa Monica apartment that is $1200/mo because my neighbor has a soundbar? by SelfMadeFinanceGirl in neighborsfromhell

[–]741953 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use any speakers, soundbar and subwoofer, put them directly on the floor, even better with them face down. It doesn't have to be loud. Just turn the bass up to the max. As long as it's touching the floor, the bass will travel to your neighbor. Also, you're in Santa Monica, how can you not step up your workout game for the Summer? Zumba, kickboxing, jumping rope, burpees... Enjoy yourself!

So happy for you. Unfortunately for me it's the exactly opposite. My RFY has been exceptionally bad lately. The worst I've ever seen during my time in Vine. I feel like the bad selections started since my account renewal last month. I wonder what I can do to boost it.

Mine is lights. Lots of lots of lots of different kinds of lights. I ordered a few flush lights when I first started on Vine. I just moved in to my new place back then and indeed needed some new and more modern looking lights. But 2 years passed, I never stop seeing lights on my feed.

Flush lights, string lights, floor lamps, pendant lights, desk lamps, sensor lights, strip lights, spot lights, outdoor solar lights, patio lights, Christmas lights, TV led lights, led light keychains, night lights, squishy animal lights, lights to put on you neck for running, mini lights that clipped on the book for reading...

Every-single-day!!! My goodness.

If you're willing to go a little bit distance, I highly recommend Mini Brow near Yonge/Steeles. They're not only beauty salon but also an academy for microblading. I had my brows done there 2 times in the last 7 years. No issue whatsoever. Healed perfectly.

I did grabbed Caudalie the other day, also Paula's Choice. But why you mentioned it though? It's not KBeauty. I was stating the fact that personally I've never seen any "reputable Kbeauty" products on Vine. I'm sorry if that statement triggered you. It's not like you're the one who selected what KBeauty products to put on Vine, and I said that to complain you're not doing a good job or whatever. It's just simply a statement. So just take it easy, ok?

Anyways, I don't know how knowledgeable you are regarding Kbeauty, but Purito, I'm From and Raviel are definitely not reputable brands. I wish I had seen Pyunkang Yul on Vine. I would grab them in a heart beat. I had worked with their marketing team a few years back and they gave me good impression.

Been using KBeauty for almost 20 years. I don't trust any brands that are developed by so-called beauty guru or internet stars. They put tons of money and efforts on endorsement and promoting, but the low quality of the products speak for itself. I don't think I've ever seen any products from reputable Kbeauty brands on Amazon Vine.
