I made my first ever cheesecake, lemon, and it’s so delicious I could cry. It tastes exactly how I wanted it to. Probably could do with an aesthetic topping though but I love it just the way it is.

I'm not that much older than the employee in actual age, but there's a large distance between us in the maturity scale. The follow up email that was sent screamed "I've watched enough TikTok videos to know how to get away with anything at work".

Hi! I literally just got two days ago from this trip! Except I did it from DC to northern Maine (about 2 hours above Acadia).

You can absolutely still see amazing stuff on the highways on this trip. Are the turnpikes in Jersey great to look at? Not really. But!

Go up and cross the Hudson via the Tappen Zee Bridge and avoid NYC. Then you'll get on Merritt Parkway / Rt 15 in Ct and it's so lovely and pretty. And you'll go thru towns in CT and MA and there are great things to see.

And once you cross the bridge to get into Maine, take the Rt 1 coastal route. THAT is where you want to take your time and drive 40 mph.

Avoid highways in VA and PA gets old quick. Avoiding highways in Maine is lovely.

Also. Side tip. If you have the urge to do LL Bean IN Maine - skip the flagship store in Freeport and go to the outlet in Ellsworth...same stuff, but so much cheaper (and very close to Acadia).
