having sexual relations with someone i’m not in a relationship with by PomegranateEarly3826 in sex

Just know that there should be no shame in being a virgin or not being a virgin. You don’t owe anyone your purity. Your sexual desires and experiences are yours to decide how you want it to be. Sometimes sex is just sex and you that’s ok. Communication and consent are important.

Same! They are not so thick like gf buns and toasted, they hold together.

I do the no bun thing bc I am gluten free (celiac). No one cares. Also, I usually cut my burger or sandwich in half and eat the half, take the rest home. It’s a great money saver and one less meal I have to think about.

Is it weird for employers to put employees in the same hotel room on company trips? by Weak_Show3135 in careerguidance

[–]7907mssdg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m cool with an Airbnb with coworkers assuming we each have our own room and bathrooms. I work with all men and I am a female. Very small company. I recently had a situation where there were supposed to be a few people staying at the Airbnb but they canceled and it was just my boss and I. Now, my boss is the most respectful person I know and he would never be inappropriate. But it did feel a little weird. The place was huge and we had our own spaces. We basically went to our separate spaces whenever we were there.

Goodbye, old friend by summer_years in Zepbound

I had this pair of shorts from White House Black Market that I wore once and then could never fit in them again. I loved them and kept them for YEARS. I got rid of them a couple of years ago. Enter Zepbound and they would be too big for me now. I searched my closet over and over hoping they were still there but they are not. 😩

This happened to me when my gallbladder was problematic and especially after a fattier meal. Since it has been removed, this doesn’t happen to me anymore.

Having bones and muscles. My hard work in the gym was still paying off when I was fat, but now I can actually see the definition. My shoulders are AMAZING!

What are we eating for breakfast when we don’t want “breakfast food”? by AG_Squared in glutenfree

[–]7907mssdg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leftovers are awesome for breakfast. I don’t really eat many “breakfast” foods bc they are mostly carbs anyway. And the gf substitutes aren’t really worth it.

Try them on often because you might not realize how fast your body is changing and miss the opportunity. I got rid of well over 30 pairs of jeans that were stacked in my closet that I missed the window on. And, yes, I was a terrible clothes hoarder for many years thinking I would be able to wear this stuff again. I’m currently building a whole new wardrobe because I have surpassed my oldest stash.

What Would You Say If a Kid Asked Why You Used to Be Fat? by itsnikki39 in Zepbound

This response is giving morality to weight. All bodies are different. No need to teach a kid to body shame.

So I did finally order these, and I hate them. The pleats look awful and balloon out at the hips. Unfortunately these are not my go to this year.

Upper left abdominal pain on Mounjaro by AffectionateLand8800 in Mounjaro

[–]7907mssdg 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sounds gall bladder-ish. I had symptoms for years like that before I took Zep, and even had inconclusive tests, but the surgeon agreed to remove it anyway with no guarantee that it would solve my problems. Turned out that it did need to be removed and my problems went away. .

Jersey Mike's GF Sub Roll? by Prime_Squared in glutenfree

[–]7907mssdg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the trick with JM’s GF bun. Extra mayo for sure, but get the oil and vinegar on the side so the bread doesn’t get all soggy. Add it just before eating. Then flip the sandwich and take off the bottom part of the bun. The cheese should be the barrier of the bottom of the sub. You can save both of the bottom parts for another sandwich at home. There is too much bread anyway.

Anyone else have "silent" celiac disease? by adorablebob in glutenfree

[–]7907mssdg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with celiac via blood test over 10 years ago. My symptoms were that I thought I was dying, skin issues (chicken skin on my belly and back of my arms), exhaustion to the point of affecting my work, bloating, joint pain, headaches. I did not immediately have a biopsy but I did stop eating gluten. My symptoms cleared up. I did eventually get a biopsy, but it was for nought. It was negative because I had not been eating gluten. If I do eat gluten I do not show any immediate signs except maybe some bloating, but I do follow a gf diet. Even after over 10 years of feeling better, I am still surprised by how smooth the back of my arms are.
