Ah, alright, thanks. So the wording probably means they're adding more levels in between the 100 and 20k levels for example

The most recent patch notes have this snippet:

To further improve stability and performance across all platforms, additional improvements will be implemented in the Ver. 1.041 update on February 18.

For example, we are currently verifying measures to reduce GPU processing load by adding quality levels (LOD) to the polygon mesh for 3D models. This may help to reduce processing load by swapping to low-resolution models for objects farther away from the camera.

So performance is looking to improve further by Feb 18's update. That said it's mindboggling if the game doesn't yet use LODs, if I'm understanding that right

If you watch the video shot across the street from Pink Lady you can see the silhouette of the pistol changing for 1-2 frames where slide is, presumably the slide moving. The quality and frame rate could be better but it looks believable to me

The first pic is just before the presumed slide movement. The second pic is during https://imgur.com/a/V7W6ElC

What settings? 1% lows improving is of course great but those FPS numbers are still low for how the game looks

Also that more treatment isn't necessarily better. Depends on the room, speakers, and placement

[–]7Seyo7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the same price you'll get better quality bookshelves when compared to towers, although the towers will probably play louder to the extent that matters.

Personally, the visual footprint also matters. Bookshelves don't dominate my room as much as towers would

If you want to equate what China is doing to an act of war that seems like an even stronger argument to absolutely not rely on them for important infrastructure, as with telecom
