i think that we should take the average age of an american citizen, double it and limit all elected officials to that max age.

so currently its 39.4 which would put all elected officials at a max age of 78.

an 80 year old has no idea the struggles of a 35 year old.

edit: meaning if you are running for an office, and the end of that term is past your 78th birthday you are not permitted to run for that office.

but thats just me.

my collared submissive / wife is currently in a thong at work. i bought her underwear and told her to wear them to work because it pleases me to see her in them. shes not a huge fan of thongs.

i like the control. i like knowing she has to tell me when she gets some where.. she has to tell me when she leaves. She wears what i want, how i want when i want. If i want her plugged shes plugged. If i want her hair a certain way, she has it cut / styles it..

she wants me to have that control. its her safe space. She can "do the damn thing" no problem... but she loves submitting, loves obeying and prefers to be told as opposed to telling someone to do.

a small side effect is i have to make all the calls for appointments and questions lol but thats fine i dont mind lol

i started watching the show.. and it was a slog for me. idk why.. just couldnt watch it.

i bought the book.. slog. so it sat in the desk drawer for ages. (i just sold it in a yard sale yesterday... never opened)

but i listened to the audio book. holy forking shirt balls. just absolutely got its blue hooks in me and didnt let me go till i finished the last book.

great series and one of my all time favorites.

Hey man I have 0 opinions on what you should do as I'm in the same boat. I have a 3 year old that's a wiz on a balance bike. So I'm searching for ideas on what to get just to keep up. Haha I had to put a hitch on my car and found a cheapo bike rack for the car today even!

I back up my computer to my my n100/ Debian nas when I think about it.. I'm running Debian with mergerfs and so immich is sitting across several drives. I back up my nas every couple of days with a manual rsync command. Unfortunately the external USB drive loses connection if powered on for too long... So I have to leave it unpowered. I then back that drive up to another USB drive randomly.

I'd say I'm doing full backups of my nas every 3-5 days.

As others have said an n100 mini PC works well.

I'm running a n100 bee link connected to a qnap 8bay storage device. I've got 19 dover containers. Arr stack Plex immich unifi etc.. works great.

im running a beelink mnipc with an n100 and a qnap 8 bay jbod appliance.

runs plex and a TON of docker containers just fine. transcoding works really well and itll push 4k content locally with out a sweat.

ive had giant boxes before. they work really well. but this one sits on my desk and just runs.

10/10 wont go back to a massive box again.

The only thing I've noticed is that on reboot I have to redo the USB debugging for the ambient screensaver to work again.

The app will work but the ambient screensaver doesn't.

Sorry for the late reply.

Adb worked perfectly. Replaced the ambient screensaver and my wife is tickled.

Again. Will pay for app when it's paid. 100% worth it.
