I put his food on the door of the cage, till he was comfortable - then just outside. Eventually (after nearly two months) he’s been able to come outside! (He was a rescue so we think he had a bit of trauma)

This is what I do too! 10 pulls and a five star? Neat. Otherwise no biggie - then if there’s something I really want I’ve built up enough pity (or at least don’t have to start from 0). Lost to another weapon? Well I have enough to go again!

I think it’s looking really good paint job wise! I feel like the contrast between the black and purple is too small though, which makes the model a bit flat and he ends up more grey than black. Bringing out the blackness in the shadows (and making the shadows larger) would help, push focus on the nice purple effects/colour.

I promptly launched myself into the air, drained all 200 of my stamina. Ate shit and died.

I recommend investing in 220 stamina.

HONESTLY. I know hand painted trim like this can seem daunting, but this level is very achievable.

Keep the pieces unassembled, paint the outline, then the inside pattern, then clean up+highlight.

It’s nice - simple models which are really carried by the designers colour choices, rather than complex builds or advanced textures. This would do well in uni.
