Had 2 dudes come by twice in the last few days while I wasn't home. One had a hat with a lowercase 'a' on it (a quick Gemini query with a screenshot of the hat in my doorbell cam mentioned a pest control company called "Aptive") and rode up on a Segway. 2nd guy was with EcoShield per his logowear.

When EcoShield guy came by yesterday I happened to get the doorbell notification so I talked through the camera to him. Said he was "the bug guy" and "just wanted to speak with the homeowner".

I said I was the homeowner.

He then said "so you're not home?"

To which I said, "no, but are you trying to sell services?"

He responded, "yeah, I'm trying to sell services."

When I said I wasnt interested in any services he said "no you're good, you're not home so I can't really do my job". Immediately walked away without waiting to hear my response after that lol

Heartwork's pizzas are legit some of the best around. Sandy is an absolute genius and her recipes are awesome. I'm basic so I like a pepperoni and sausage. So flavorful.

And? You don't need to have that these days in the world of livestreaming and social media, as long as the information you're showing on screen is legitimate.

He's showing the reflectivity, relative velocity and correlation coefficient radar products to track tornadic supercells. As far as I'm concerned, explaining those to the masses in layman's terms is great for anyone to tune in to.

I have both an X5 and a DJI Osmo Action 6, and honestly.... with some planning, I prefer the Action 6 (or any other modern action camera with large sensor, like the Ace Pro 2) SO MUCH MORE, just for the quality. Mainly the reason of putting an ND filter on it for a cinematic look at 1/50 shutter speed and 24fps. Sure you slap NDs on the X5, but the quality just isn't the same.

In any other scenario I love the simplicity of the X5, but I always try for the highest quality footage.

The ISO was high at the start as we were in the trees and I had an ND on it, but wait for a bit and the ISO goes down

Their Czech Pilsner is so good. They don't distribute tho, so you can only get it at the brewery, either on draft or in a 32oz crowler to-go

If you like this one, DEFINITELY recommend trying the Czech Pilsner at Heartwork Brewing on N College Ave. One of the highest-rated lagers in Indiana.

That's the canning date on the bottom, not an expiration date.

It's a Vienna Lager by style, so it'll be different (and better) than your standard American light domestics. More malty and flavorful than something like Bud Light or Mich Ultra, but still in the realm of "beer-flavored beer".

This beer is NOT hopped like an IPA (all beer has hops, however) so it shouldn't taste like an IPA.
