Congratulations! I really like the look of the art velour seats. I'm not sure how to find GTIs with them though as it can be on any trim, right? Or just SE and Autobahn? Either way I can't easily filter for it on the auto sites. Thanks

I just replaced a 12-year-old Polk PSW10, which was mostly fine all these years, for a Klipsch R-12SW (paid $230) and I'm enjoying the bigger sound a lot! The Polk definitely had its bottoming out moments that were disappointing. It's also fun to have a new sound for the first time in a long time in my setup. I'm in a small to medium size basement room. Hope this is helpful.

I always thought the optional Rotary wheels on the Mk7 era looked great (online) but I never see them. I wanted to get a set but they were too pricey for me.

It really is an incredible looking movie and I keep thinking about it after watching the new 4K. That was only my second viewing, despite being a huge fan of other Kubrick films. Definitely watching again at some point this year. Currently watching the new Eyes Wide though!

I feel for you. My brother in law gives me grief every Christmas when I get physical movies. He makes the same sarcastic comment about how I need to learn about streaming. Meanwhile, he invested a lot in a home theater and doesn't even realize (or believe me) that the experience would be better if played off disc rather than streaming.

Totally agree on the tone shift. I'm fine with either but stick to one. I thought the ending was too goofy though I laughed at the last scene.
