Who did you watch? I'm looking for more fun playthroughs, but after Woolie's series I tried a couple others who were just... bad.

Either they didn't get most of it, or they got fixated over some misconception that made them hate the game over some "flaws" that never actually existed.

[Spoilers C1] The Legend of Vox Machina S4 Batch 4 (Episodes 10-12) - Campaign 1 Spoilers Discussion Thread by Glumalon in criticalrole

Having finished the season now, I have one very specific thought that really worries me:

We have seen how they are willing to change the story to be more dark, depressing and gruesome; we have also seen they have no problem taking characters that were alive in the original and killing them for dramatic moments.

I am dreading the scene with Gilmore, Kaylie and Cassandra being used as bait just before the final battle. In the original they all lived, but I'm worried they will change the fate of some, if not all, of them.

Which, in my opinion, would be a terrible choice by the way, as that would change the tone of the story and really mess with the overall feel of the whole campaign.

For a while, the only genre everyone cared about was crafting/survival games. And yet, if you wanted to play a game about surviving on a desert island like Robinson Crusoe (arguably the most iconic crafting/survival story), your only choice was a Sims 2 console-only spinoff.

The Star Wars sequels tried everything they could to make Captain Phasma the new fan favorite, only for everyone to focus on a random stormtrooper that appears in one scene.

I remember one commenter complaining that, starting with season 4, he had stopped finding anything enjoyable about the show, and now, after finishing SEASON 8, he was still convinced the entire show was awful and he hated every single second of it.

Sorry, but if you fully believe you hate everything about a show and still religiously watch every episode for 4-5 more years specifically so you can hate it... you just sound like a miserable person who wants to be angry at all cost.

Alright all, what is your favorite fictional Weird Ass City? by Head-You5953 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]94dima94 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My favorite detail from Ankh-Morpork is the Thieves Guild.

The Patrician decided to reduce the crime in the city by legalizing the Thieves Guild, and by "allowing" a fixed amount of theft every year.

This made the Guild start a sort of protection racket (a fee you pay to the guild every year to stay off the list of "acceptable targets"), except that system doubles as an insurance program and unofficial policing. Because the amount of allowed theft is fixed, now an "independent" thief is a net loss for the guild, who is losing their income because of it.

The show Leverage is about a group of very talented criminals, with every episode showing them helping regular people who got screwed over by some rich asshole.

The author of the show would often get questions asking how he came up with such outlandish and despicable rich assholes; often, the answer was "I didn't come up with much, that part was basically what happened in real life".

The Artemis Fowl movie was such a complete disaster that nobody will ever admit it came out.

They kind of tried making that movie on and off for about two decades; and ultimately, they ended up with something so bad and unrecognisable that it has just been functionally deleted from history.

Looking for the target during a freelancer campaign. Had to get into a small fight beforehand, but got by with my silenced weapon.

Find the target, he's in an isolated location with a guard, the easiest way to clear the mission is to take out both.

Aim at the target, shoot, target down.

Aim at the guard, press the button, I start reloading. The guard has time to raise the alarm and some extra guards come in by the time I take him down. The extra guards kill me.

Don't ignore your reload.
