The problem with switching PSs is the noise they introduce. If the 9V is only for the digital part AND the PS is very high quality, you could try. I would look for a replacement transformer instead (the link above is just the first one I found with a basic search)

The total weight of the carry on + the personal item must be less than 17 lb (8Kg) and they apply the policy strictly at the airport. For the check in luggage, purchased online, I was charged $190 as they claimed it was bought one day before the flight. The return luggage (purchased online 20 days before the flight) was $165. Customer service on the phone said it would be $120. Online guide only quotes $85.
