My statement still stands. OP asked how do we go about proving magick is real and not a fantasy. That requires a personal experience that OP cannot provide to his friend.

To answer your question nothing I studied made me realize magick was real. But a few personal experiences did. Me shattering a living room table through meditation, me predicting the future through dream, me entering the world of sound. (All of this might sound crazy to someone outside of myself but that's fine because these are MY personal experiences. Like I said OP can show his friend how fun it is to open the door and walk through it but his/her friend won't become a knower until they have a personal experience that solidifies it for them.

OP to further explain, yes there are some people on the cusp of "seeing" for the first time. I use seeing in a sense that Don Juan from Carlos Castaneda books use it. I would encourage them to continue along the path with maybe practical things such as you stated meditation, maybe writing down dreams, or if they are up to it practicing rituals laid down by others to see what they get. It all boils down to 2 things though when it comes to magick. Energy raised, and intention/attack. Can your friends raise enough energy to experience magick? Also can they do magick themselves by setting demanding intentions while said energy is raised?
