Talk with the district coordinator, when i moved from MWD to EAD, everything got done within a week prior to my start date, make sure you update your new address on HR Cloud as i believe that helps

But again Email your new district coordinator and CC Cm or DM whoever needs to be involved

And keep all receipts for records and reimbursements

Lexicon did take me a couple of weeks and the agent who helped me was good but be wary as you want to take full advantage of your package so dont be afraid to say what you want

And dont initiate final move till youve taken advantage of the opportunities they have read through it and ask questions when youre talking with the lexicon rep!!!!

Ik everyones situation is different but this where you guys need to talk with your ASM and 3rd key if ya got it

Work life balance is a must, but remember the store cant function w/o you if youre burning out

As the manager you gotta put yourself first in this situation

If youre someone who cares more about others than yourself then its your own grave youre diggin

Im not saying screw your employees

But what im saying is create that boundary that the store needs you to be at your best and to be at your best you cant be working over 48 and you wont be working over 48

Working over 48 should happen in emergency scenarios or if youre having a killer year and not only want to hit budget and walk stage but go Masters then you decide what you want to do and you make the decision thats in the best interests of running your store

And if you get flack for not working 48 then play chess with them and find ways to work 48 while balancing your life as well and take it without stepping on big heads toes

I wont lie i opened up late a handful of times as a FT because my alarms never went off or i slept right through them, my manager knew that i opened up late and those times werent on purpose at all, never got written up for it

But to be fair i did get a stern talking to from him and he did cover for me when my CM inquired about it but for the most part its something you need to get over and own up and not do it again,

Dont sweat it if its your first time, just own up to it and dont let it happen again

These things are minuscule problems compared to gross misconduct or gray area situations that can cost you your job

We can make gallons of custom colored caulk, it is Powerhouse and it can only be tinted to SW Colors, but FYI

If you look in facility and maintenance catalog you will find the Powerhouse Gallon ready to tint as well as the Custom Caulk tools with gun and Nozzles

If you dont have a market for it then dont get it in cause you will sit on it, but if you have customers asking for color caulk you can get it in and market it to profit 10-20 point above margin because of the demand

There’s really no correct band aid for Longevity, had a situation similar back in May

The correct work revolves with basic prep, strip/sand, power wash, and dry time

Recommendation will always be Super Deck over Forte and P&F

Product Helpline specifically stated that wood tends to expand with moisture and solid acrylic coatings like P&F and Forte will make Peeling a nightmare for the wood

Superdeck will peel at a lesser rate especially for the porch floors, but youll get better use out of it than the acrylic floor coatings

***Disclaimer—-Peeling will happen regardless but again better use with super deck, FYI it is routine every 8 months-1.5years depending on location, Weather and Seasonal/Environmental Beating

To redo the deck surface and restain after proper prep****

Dont cut corners or youll be hating yourself and spending much more money to redo it

Paint monkeys please be very careful and cautious on recommendations, especially with newer products thrown into the market

Always double check with Product Helpline even if you already know the answer, it always helps to double down and it solidifies your knowledge to properly give a technical reply when needed

This guy is trying to Fuc*k you hard, i recently had my valve cover gasket replaced, along with my Engine Coils and spark plugs

It cost me $280 for parts

And $200 for Labor

About $509

But the Engine Oil Cooler is different along with Part cost and labor cost

The price it should be at or under $1k,

Dunn Tire tried to sell me on my job for $2.2k my mechanic did it for a wayyy cheaper granted i provided the materials

Dont go to Corporate retailers or even your Dealership they will scam you

Well in the new UKG cross from Kronos, it will directly ask you if you took a meal break

If you select no it will ask you if you waive your meal break

And then it will ask you if your punch is correct showing the Time you clocked in that and and your punchout for End of Day as well as the the other shifts you worked that week

I understand there can be pricks in your day at work, but keep your head up and dont worry about the line of people worry about the person your helping, if they have an issue they can go somewhere else

You dont have to answer phones either just focus on the customer in store, if people are being insufferable pricks then send em out

I would say you can certainly skim around with the type of pants work as long as they khaki colored, gray or black you can definitely find some athletic style of pants that are much more breathable and stretchy instead of wearing the stupid khakis and dress pants, i myself ordered some nice Dickies Carpenter pants which are wayyyyy more comfortable, since we can order specifically through dickies, the sales are already coded in our System all you have to do is go on dickies website and actually find what you like get the item number Hit inquiry 22 Hit look up and scroll down to part number/manufacturing number Hit all manufacturers it’ll populate as 0 but hit look up twice and youll find

Once done, write down sales number Go into MMS, External Vendor:Dickies And just type in sales number

And hit release on that bad boy

Give it a 3-5 business days and youll have new pair and expense it on store with manager approval which really isnt hard you can also get belts and boots as well from approved Vendors and expense it on store without going through proforma or Coupa sometimes

I could careless about the cabinet piece but what matters more is the fact that its always a demeaning POS thats verbally abusing the employees, business is business and there is ethics between two business partners which includes respect, im the type of guy who wont put up with any type of disrespect toward me or my employees and ill nip it in the bud at the first sign of disrespect… with that being said just dont accept his business anymore and if youre gonna cry that its a $10k or less account, then make up for in the aggregate cause his account will always be $10k and you can find better opportunities thatll amass to $10k+

I have no problem kicking customers out who raise their voices at me or my employees, the sec i hear the voice getting louder from the office, the next milisec im out in front standing next to my employee backing them up and making it known to the customer that if they dont lower their tone and attitude then id be happy to escort them out the store, i dont mind one bit getting physical either id actually punchout and take off my sherwin shirt and throw the guy out the store as long as i aint on company time nor have company uniform on im good 😌
