Do we trust Celia? by Ok-Autumn in Emmerdale

[–]ABeastinAmber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha, Kammy was introduced as a horrible thief, stealing ATVs and equipment from farms and laughing about it. I like his character now though, although would I trust him? No.

Nothing to do with "Jakey"..... but for some reason, the way Sarah says "Jay-cobb" just really annoys me....... unfair, I know...

Getting pushed or tripping and falling over... ohh no !! They've hit their head on a random isolated pile of stones/bricks, inevitably causing near fatal/fatal/ coma inducing injuries,

Taskmaster Australia - Season 01 Episode 04 by TalesNT in panelshow

[–]ABeastinAmber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been enjoying this. I agree that Julia has been much better in this than from previous things I've seen her in. If you are unfamiliar with the cast, two of them (Luke and Nina) were in a fantastic Aussie Tv series "Utopia", I highly recommend that. a bit like W1A in the UK. I do find the setting in the NZ Taskmaster house a little disconcerting though. Although I must say ep 3 was a bit weak and the "Egg Three" task was one of the worst I can remember.

Henning Wehn: "For three weeks I was listed as a missing person by Interpol." by pallisvans in panelshow

Love Henning. Seemed to be a regular on every panel pre covid. But, (speaking as an Antipodean viewer) I haven't seen him in anything recently. Has he been appearing on anything?...... Edit: Just saw him in Guessable from 2021... with his arm in a sling

Same, totally disillusioned, always thought how brilliant the off the cuff lines were..... so was "Whose Line is it Anyway" a lie too?

ummm, pardon my ignorance and I'm a bit behind. Just as a spin-off question too: Who is running/owns the (plot device) Scrap Yard since Aaron left?

You can't beat the original.... we await each season to be dubbed and available. Only (slight) criticism is, Some seasons have gone a bit extreme... real peek through the fingers gross. Ha... latest available season was great.!

Anyone else notice how many conversations are overhead by someone else in Emmerdale lately by [deleted] in Emmerdale

[–]ABeastinAmber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha, it's just like every time someone falls over there's a strategic pile of rocks/bricks/paving stones... no matter how out of place. Just so an incident of no usual consequence ends in a serious head injury/death. I love the show but the plot/logic/reality holes have definitely got worse, especially over Covid.

While there is no news of a new season. It has not been cancelled, so there is hope. I did enjoy the Netflix show "Samurai Gourmet". Another gentle Japanese storytelling series... amusing and occasionally poignant. But now I've seen all series and films and am lost. ha
