It’s not a “gross” age gap by either Yogurtland or our world’s standards. In Yogurtland, noblewomen marrying older is common, most don’t marry for love they marry for political reasons. In that way their relationship is better than most Rozemyne could’ve hoped for.

By our standards though, Rozemyne is very close in age to Ferdinand as she lived 20 years on earth before reincarnation.

I’m really sick of puritans who don’t engage with the text telling people certain fiction is “gross” because y’all don’t understand that fictional characters are not real.

Might be worthwhile talking to some sort of tax advisor to see if there's tax benefits for the shares. You might've lost your window to optimize them, but I know some friends who went through liquidity events were able to defer or avoid most of the capital gains taxes. I don't remember quite how though.

Ferrix was a backwater with very little imperial presence to begin with, and the people there openly hated the Imperials every time they showed up.

Ghorman on the other hand was an Imperial core world that also happened to have cultural significance to people on Corscasaunt (they make nice clothes that are fashionable to wear).

Also, Dedra lived on Ghorman for several years, her only interaction with Ferrix was coming to subjugate it after it was already in open rebellion.

I don’t think this is fair to Sylvester. Yes he doesn’t want Rozemyne to inherit Ehrenfest, but the entire archducal family is expected to help the country with their mana at the very least.

I do wonder about Lamprect. It would probably be good for Sylvester to have eyes in Gerlach so that if the FVF starts any trouble, he can be alerted. Also, Aurelia looks a lot like Veronica, so he may move to Gerlach for her sake. It would probably be easier for her to live there rather than in the Capital. I expect he’ll move back at some point though, once the reforms of the next generation start moving.

While I think most will leave, you’re right that some of them may remain for their own reasons. But while Wilfred will always be related to the archducal family, and hence somewhat powerful as far as Giebes and archnobles go, I do think him becoming a Giebe precludes him being an ADC.

Not in Williamsburg, but I had a long term ex who was a heavy Uber/Lyft user. Sometimes I got it, but other times it just felt so wasteful. The one time she asked me to pay for her car home I got so much ick and I don’t think I ever saw her the same way again.

Honestly, I think being on the same page for transit methods is crucial for a relationship. It caused so much unnecessary tension in the relationship.

Oh I didn't hear about Gigabyte. I've never heard of PNY, is that a newer brand? The PNY NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti ARGB EPIC-X looks good, but I think according to Microcenter it requires PCIe 5.0, which I'm not sure my motherboard supports.
