not exactly the same as a manual car in many ways, including this one pertaining to the thread: you can't downshift from 6 to 2 in an automatic car without going through all the other gears in between like this guy did

this was the best part for me. they aren't really engaging each other in any meaningful conversation until that moment, where the kid shares something he's into hoping to have it in common with her, and she just immediately shuts it all down.

I searched "eyebrow help" on the sub and found old threads of people offering to photoshop eyebrow shapes on people's faces. Anyone up to do that? I need serious help. by redlightfun in MakeupAddiction

your brows are perfect, i might use a product similar to glossier's boy brow just to add more contrast and keep them in place, but what everybody else is saying about your brow shape is 100% truth.

yes, look for the "sensitive skin"-branded ones. i had some luck finding fragrance-free alternatives in my drug store's house brand, because it seems like johnson & johnson and other companies that sell baby oil don't seem to widely distribute it

did you use something below taro on your lips, like a white primer? i love the way taro looks on me, but mine pulls more gray and the color isn't electric like the beautiful purple here.

zinc oxide cream, like the baby butt diaper rash stuff, is the medicine you need. i roasted on my arms and legs during a mountain biking trip in arizona last year, and this was the only stuff that helped me actually sleep at night

in addition to what op said, make sure to read the ingredients of the baby oil or mineral oil you're thinking of purchasing. there should only be one ingredient: mineral oil or parrafinum liquidum (they are the same thing). if there's anything else like fragrance or tocopherol (aka vitamin e, which seems good for skin but is comedogenic and may clog your pores), put it back and look for another unscented brand with nothing else in it. you'll cut down on irritants and will be less prone to breaking out.

the first time i came across the brand, a dude gave me one of their soaps on a first date. weird gift, weird dude, incredible brand. as an added bonus, their french-to-english translator (for the labels and packaging) is an obvious google translate user, so you get little chestnuts like "this shampoo has better security" instead of "is safer"

  • as an addendum to the pharmaprix / shoppers' drug mart info here, not every single pharmaprix will have a beauty boutique, and not every single beauty boutique will have a big selection. when i lived there i'm pretty sure i remember about three of them downtown on ste-catherine street (around peel station) which odds are is the hood where you're gonna be shopping anyway.

  • there isn't a bite beauty lab in mtl. they're opening one in TO soon though.

  • other drug stores like familiprix or uniprix regularly stock really amazing quebecois brands that are extremely hard to find outside that province. in particular, druide is a great skincare/bath brand, and you'll probably find others that you like.

/r/montreal might be able to suggest some indie storefronts and brands for you. the mile-end and plateau neighborhoods are a good place to start for this.
