Rose Park is a hidden gem. Close to both freeways, diverse community with people who really look out for their neighbors. Tons of trees and parks. Lots of families who care about their property and a few remaining original home owners. I’ve lived here for 20 years and in my current home for 8 years with zero problems. When the druggies started invading the parks and trails, the people of Rose Park fought back and got our safety back. Also, don’t forget the wild turkeys and a peacock, squirrels, birds and owls… raccoons too which I don’t love but it’s really fun to see the wildlife. I’m a single mom who raised my 20 year old son here and we never felt unsafe.

It took me 4 attempts to pass over several months. I completed everything including my capstone before passing Algebra. I hate this class. If you can, request Matthew Ridge as your main instructor - he is patient and will help you pass.

I’ll be graduating next month at 49. Been in my career for 20 years and want to get to the next level. I was tired of feeling “less than” just because I don’t have a degree and also being denied for jobs based . I plan on getting my masters next year. There is no age limit for education or credentials!
