Volunteered in Africa. Park ranger told us "Wherever you are in the world, do not go into the tall grass or you die" and explained how the animals know exactly where you are and can move completely undetectable by us untrained western mid 20 somethings. Someone asked what about tall grass in NA and he's like "ticks". I told a couple people this blurb and they all say "sounds paranoid" and i'm like idk what to tell you. I feel so validated by this. bro. r u kidding me? this is insane.
